Remus and Lina arrived at kings cross station on September first without any problems, they got onto the platform with five minutes to spare and quickly found Lucy who was with her brother and parents. The two girls chatted with each other until it was time to get on the train, Remus and Lucy's dad loaded their trunks onto the train and after saying goodbye to their families they too got on the train.
As the whistle blew at eleven o clock Lina stuck her head out the door window and waved until she could no longer see Remus.
"Do you know where the boys are because I haven't got a clue?" Lucy said to Lina.
"Same here" Lina replied looking up and down the carriage, but she there was no sign of either of the boys.
"Well, I say we go ahead and find an empty compartment and then go and find them."
"Fine by me."
"So how do we get our trunks to a compartment, because mine is heavy as fuck" the girls moved out the way of an excitable second year who was running down the narrow walkway.
"Easy, with magic" Lina waved her hand and the trunks floated a couple of feet off the ground "lead the way."
"Have you been practising?" Lucy asked as they started their way down the walkway.
"A little over the summer with my uncle and cousin, they both wanted to see how I'm getting on with my classes."
Before they could find an empty compartment they found Danny sitting alone in one, "took you both long enough" he said as they entered, trunks first.
"Oh don't start," Lucy said.
"Where's Cedric?" Lina asked before an argument could arise.
"He's on prefect duty, isn't he. left us for those other prefects, gone forever!" Danny exclaimed
"Bit dramatic don't you think. How long is he gone for exactly?" Lucy asked.
"Bout two hours."
"Two hours! is that all? If anyone should be getting upset about it, it should be Lina."
"You're starting with this already?" Lina asked looking back at Lina as she let Demeter out of her cage.
"Yep!
An hour and forty-five minutes later, fifteen minutes after the food trolley had passed Lina began to crave pumpkin juice, she had already finished the one she had and already wanted some more. She stood up and poked her head out the compartment door, the food trolley wasn't too far away. She looked back to Danny and Lucy, they were both buried in last-minute homework both had failed to do over the summer.
"I'm going to get some more pumpkin juice, do either of you want anything?" Lina asked.
"Chocolate frog please" Danny answered while Lucy declined.
