"Shouldn't she be awake by now."
"She will be soon."
"You sure?"
"Maybe she hit her head when she fell."
"Will she remember what happened?"
Lina could hear the voices around her but they magnified to shouting, she wanted them all to go away so she could sleep in peace. "Shut up" Lina murmured, it was faint, so faint she was sure no one would be able to hear what she said, but they did.
"Lina."
"Eve."
Lina's eyes fluttered open, Lina, immediately knew she was in the hospital wing. The Hufflepuff team, as well as Lucy and Danny, surrounded her bed. As she looked around the room she remembered what happened, the Dementors were at the match, the voices she heard before she felt like she was flying. "I fell" she suddenly said.
"Yeah, but only thirty feet or so," Danny said.
"Only" Lucy mumbled, her cheeks were puffy and her eyes bloodshot, she had been crying "I knew you would be fine, that the teachers wouldn't let anything bad happen but for a moment when you hit the ground" she shuddered and stopped talking.
Through the gap of Tony and Jenifer at the bottom of the bed, Lina could see the Gryffindor crowded around a bed opposite from her own "what happened?"
"Harry also fell off his broom off his broom" Tony answered, "right before Diggory got the Snitch."
"We won!?"
"Yeah" Cedric sighed rubbing his chin "but it wasn't fair, Harry was off his broom as I caught it, I tried to call for a rematch but it's not going to happen."
"Like I keep telling Cedric, if it was the other way around Gryffindor wouldn't do the same" Danny said.
"Anyway," Cedric said, "how you feeling Eve."
"Alright, I've felt worse" Lina still felt incredible cold on the inside but she knew a bar of chocolate would set that right and as for her aching bones, that was nothing a nice hot bath with loads of bubbles would do to ease them. "What-"
"Before Lina could finish Madam Pomfrey came over and told the team to leave, only Lucy, Danny and Cedric remained. The matron then moved over to the Gryffindors, their team also left.
