"A-Are you gonna hurt m-me?" I stuttered with a gulp as I pressed myself against the wall in the cell, the curly haired boy turning over, his eyes connecting with mine. I ripped my vision away from his and stared at the floor instead.

"You're a pretty one, we wouldn't want you getting all beaten up," the boy hummed, his voice deep, the kind that sends chills down your spine, "why are you in here anyway, blondie?"

"Wrong place wrong time," I mumbled, still shaking, "h-how do you even s-sleep in here?" I gulped as I waited for a reply.

"Curious blondie is curious," the boy moved his curls out of his face, revealing a somewhat beautiful complexion, his hazel eyes meeting my blue ones, dirt and bruises all over his face showing signs of struggle in this place, "the answer, kid, is that you don't." and with that, he rolled over and faced the wall again, his oversized orange overalls being all I could see.

I wanted to ask the mysterious, scary boy why he was in here but I was terrified of what his response would be. I wanted to know everything about this place but I had a feeling he either wouldn't talk or would tell me to shut up. I wanted to sleep but I couldn't; not with criminally insane people around me and not with the scary boy on the bottom bunk.

"Stop overthinking and go to bed blondie," he told me, still facing the wall as I shakily stood up, climbing the almost non-existent ladder to get to the top bunk before laying down on the hard surface, my back already aching from it. "He's an American beauty, I'm an American psycho, he's an American beauty, I'm an American- American psycho." the boy sung softly below me to the familiar fall out boy song that I knew and loved, even more with his slight lyric change and his calming voice.

"Fall out boy," I stated, in a weird way kind of glad that I'd found some common interest with the psychotic criminal.

"Yeah, now shut up and go to sleep. And if you jerk off, do it quietly."

a/n short chapter buT
I waited a while before adding authors notes to make sure I got into the story line first
I hope it's not too confusing for you guys?
In this, Luke is 17 (almost 18) and Ashton is 20
JUST TO CLEAR SOMETHING UP I've never been in a mental asylum so I don't exactly know how it works and I'm well aware that they probably wouldn't be put in a cell together but they are and it's fiction so stfu.
