//Luke//

Ashton had been very, very quiet for the past two days. All he had said to me was for me to eat my lunch and dinner but nothing else. So naturally it came as a surprise when he finally did talk again.

"Luke you're coming with me for lunch today," Ashton spoke and I jumped with a startled gasp, "and you're going to stick with me and not talk to anyone else."

"I- okay," I mumbled as the guard slid back the heavy metal door and handcuffed Ashton and me to each other so we wouldn't run off.

"Kid, lunch is half an hour. Don't try anything or there will be consequences," the guard said gruffly, leading us out of the corridor and into the main cells. These cells were for the mental patients that weren't as much of a 'threat' as we were but we still hurried past them. Endless corridors after corridors, cells after cells, we finally arrived in the poor excuse for a lunch hall. There were tables and chairs but it all looked too depressing, not that I expected much in this place.

"Blondie," Ashton spoke up as we walked over to get food, "you have to eat something today." he sighed as we got our sludge on our plates. Ashton led me over to a table in the far corner and sat down opposite me, eating his disgusting food as fast as he could as if he was afraid of tasting it.

"I'm gonna throw up," I mumbled, picking at the poor excuse for food in front of me.

"Eat up, blondie," Ashton leaned back in his seat.

"Who's the new kid, Ash?" a girl's voice sounded from behind me and Ashton rolled his eyes.

"Karina, this is Luke, Luke this is Karina," Ashton sighed, "go away, Luke doesn't want to talk to you."

"Aw but he's seems nice," this Karina girl sat down next to me and I shifted awkwardly. She sounded... British? She was very pretty, the kind of girl who, if I wasn't aggressively homosexual, I would probably date, "what are you in for, kid?"

"I- I-" I stuttered at the intimidating criminal in front of me.

"It was a wrong place wrong time thing, Karina, now please leave and don't do your creepy introduction thing with him," Ashton growled at the dark haired girl and she shrugged, standing up from the seat.

"See you around, kid," the girl waved at me before sauntering off, leaving me dumbstruck and shaking.

"Hey, hey, she's not so bad," Ashton comforted me, "when I first came here she tried to be friends with me but she interrogated me about everything so I decided I'd rather be alone."

"Oh," I pouted, still shaking as I looked around at the other patients here. One guy was hitting his head repeatedly on the table, another staring blankly at the wall, two twins talking to each other, there were guards standing by the doors and-

"Flirt with that girl," Ashton whispered quickly, pointing to one of the female guards.

"W-why?" I asked shakily.

"Just- just do it, blondie," Ashton snapped as the guard came over to us.

"Hey, you're new here," she smiled kindly at me and I nodded.

"Y-yeah I am," I smiled, trying to flirt with a girl was more difficult than it seemed.

"How are you settling in?" she smiled softly.

"Good now that I've met you," I blurted, cringing at my awful attempt at flirting. She giggled and smiled again.

"Rosie, will you give Luke some chocolate? I think he needs it, you know," Ashton said, leaning back on two legs of his chair. Rosie, as I had recently learnt her name was, looked around and then subtly handed me something which I slipped into my pocket without a question.

"You're not so bad at flirting, blondie, maybe you should try it with me sometime."
