And then Harry was falling,falling,falling.Many people screamed,including me,I jumped from where I was sitting,my handing flying to my mouth. "HARRY!"I screamed loudly.I rushed out of the stands and down to Harry where Ron was already standing ,along with Fred,George and Percy Weasley,Ginny ,however,was nowhere in sight.Professors Lockhart,Mc Gonagall and Snape came striding across the pitch from the commentators stands "Move out of the way!"Mc Gonagall called "Not to worry,Not to worry!My Dear Minerva let me do that!"Lockhart said,I held my breath "No Not you!I'd like to go to the hospital wing!"Harry said loudly,But lockhart was already casting a spell on Harry's arm.Im gasped,Harry's arm had been  turned to a weird rubber type thingy "Holy Helga Hufflepuff!"I cried.Lockhart picked Harry up and began carrying him inside to the hospital wing,Harry ended up having to spend the night there

***The next morning***

I was standing in the Herbology greenhouses when Harry and Ron sprinted in "Colin Creevey's been petrified!"Harry whisper-shouted once he was close enough to me "What!?"I hissed "Yes!Colin!He was petrified last night!"He went on "Holy Helga Hufflepuff..."I muttered "Did you say-"Harry began to ask but I cut him off "Yes I did.Cry a river,build a  bridge and get over it"I snapped "Wow Amelia...What's wrong?"Ron said "Ron!They're going to have to close Hogwarts!Like I love my family but still!Don't you's understand!?"I shrieked "Quiet down everyone now!"Professor Sprout called "Today were looking at mandrake's!Can anyone tell me about a mandrake?"She said,My hand flew into the air at the same time as Hermione's "Miss Lovegood?"She called my name and I fake smiled at Hermione before I explained what it was "Mandrake -or Mandragora- is a powerful restorative,Often used by potioneers or healers to return someone who has been cursed,petrified or even transfigured to their original state.Oh,And!A mandrakes cry is fatal to anyone that hears it!"I answered,I smiled to myself knowing Hermione would have just sounded like she'd swallowed a textbook "Excellent!10 points to Hufflepuff!"I smiled outwardly this time "So if everyone can now pop on these earmuffs we're going to repot these again "Everyone scrambled to get a pair that wasn't fluffy and pink.I wasn't bothered what they looked like so naturally I got a fluffy pink one "Now the cries of these mandrakes won't kill you merely cause you to pass out.With that being said get your earmuffs on and get down to it!"I put my earmuffs on and grabbed the leafy part of the mandrake,pulling it out of the pot,It's mouth was opened in an oval shape and I winced expecting the noise to be terrible but it wasn't(I'm guessing because of the earmuffs) "PUT THEM IN  A POT NOW!"Professor Sprout called over all the noise and I shoved it into a new,bigger pot "Ah well done Miss Lovegood and Mr Longbottom,five points to both your houses"I smiled over at Neville,everyone else was still struggling and then all of a sudden Neville fell,I gasped "Looks like Longbottom's been neglecting his earmuffs!"Professor Sprout called "No ma'm!"Seamus said "He's just fainted!"Professor Sprout looked at him "Oh well,just leave him there"I looked at her,shocked.I managed to plant 10 more mandrakes before the end of the lesson.

"Bye Ron!Bye Harry!"I called and started going to the charms corridor for charms with the Ravenclaw's,I met Rose,Emmie and one of Rose's friends  on the way "Hi!"I said,smiling "Hi!Bye!"Emmie said and walking in the direction of Transfiguration "Amelia this is Phoebe,Phoebe this is Amelia"Rose said "Hello Phoebe!"I said smiling "Hello."Phoebe said,When we were in Charms Rose sat with Phoebe and I went to sit with someone new,I sat next to a Ravenclaw boy with brown hair "Hello I'm Amelia Lovegood!Whats your name?"I said "I know.And I'm Anthony Goldstein also,Is Luna your sister or what?"He said "Yes she is,Why?"I replied "Just wondering.She's really nice,but most people don't like her.They don't like the Quibbler either,I do actually though.They seem to like you.You seem pretty popular"He said,I smiled and went red "I'm not that popular...I mean-Just-You know"I didn't know how to reply because on the inside I knew he wasn't wrong "I think people like you more because your less out there with talk about Nargles and stuff,If you know what I mean"He said "Yeah,Luna's told me about you actually now I think of it.She says you stopped someone calling her Loony?"I said "Uhm yeah I did actually"

*****Big timeskip to MAY the 8th*****

I was walking to the Quidditch match when I suddenly exclaimed"Holy Merlin!"and ran to the library,leaving Harry and Ron confused in the entrance hall.I quickly conjured a mirror so I could see around the corners,I had worked out what monster lived in the chamber,A basilisk!It was getting around the school in the pipes!The voices Harry had been hearing were real!It was the basilisk!Thats why only Harry could hear it!Once I was in the library and had the right book I ripped out the page about basilisks.I scribbled pipes on the bottom of it in case I was petrified before I could explain.I met Hermione and Penelope Clearwater on the way out "Wait!Ive worked out what the monster is!Look in the mirror and don't stop!If you see yellow eyes quickly close your eyes"I told them and held out the mirror so we could all look,all of a sudden there was a noise around the corner and a pair of yellow eyes

****At the Quidditch Pitch from Ron's point of view*****

"The quidditch match has been cancelled!Everyone go back to your dormitories immediately!"Professor McGonagall said into a megaphone,Oliver Wood was now arguing with her,But McGonagall said something to Harry and then Harry came running to me "What is it?"I asked him "I don't know but McGonagall says there's something we need to see!"Harry panted "Okay"We both ran back down to McGonagall and proceeded to follow her into the school,she was leading us to the hospital wing.I looked at Harry,still confused. "Now this may come as a bit of a shock"McGonagall said and opened the door to the hospital wing,lying there were six people on beds Nearly Headless Nick,Justin Finch Fletchey,Colin Creevey,Penelope Clearwater,Hermione Granger ,and my heart dropped,Amelia.I ran over to her bed and sat on the chair next to her,Harry beside me "Was she petrified!?"I asked Professor McGonagall "Yes,She has been.She was found outside the library with Miss Clearwater and Miss Granger"McGonagall said,Luna ran into the room with Flitwick hurrying along behind her "Whats happened her!?"Luna said,clearly riddled with worry "She's been petrified Luna..."Harry said "Will she be okay!?"Luna asked "She'll be fine.Professor Sprout's mandrakes are almost ready and once they're ready we'll be able to restore her to her normal fit state"McGonagall assured Luna "But,I thought they were only attacking muggle borns,Amelia is a pure-blood so why her?"I asked "I don't know."McGonagall said
