Once everyone had finished eating Professor Dumbledore stood up
"Now off to bed with all of you" we all stood up the first years such as myself were all worried but a girl with brown hair and a kindly expression on her face came over to all the first years
"Hello! I'm your prefect. My name is Molly, now if you'll just follow me I'll show you to the common room" she spoke with a soft voice "Now, lets go" and with that she lead us down a flight of stairs to a load of barrels "This is the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room" she said smiling "You have to tap the barrels in the rhythm of Helga Hufflepuff. If you get it wrong... well... you fall into a dousing of vinegar." she tapped out the rhythm and one of that barrels opened, she crouched down to get in but once she did she stood back up able to stand perfectly, we all followed her in "Welcome... to the Hufflepuff Common Room, This is where you will spend most of your free time while your here at Hogwarts" she told us all, with a proud smile on her face. We all looked around the room in awe, the walls are yellow, the floor wood like the barrel we had just came through, at the opposite side of the room to where I stood there was a huge fireplace and all around the room there was plants: plants everywhere you looked on the walls, the floor, the roof, there was even one on the sofa "Now girls go through that door on the left, down the stairs and at the end of the corridor is your dormitory,boys the same but on your right" we all took the appropriate directions.
I got to my dormitory to find five four poster beds, I found out that I would be sharing my dormitory with Heather Hallows, Hannah Abbot, Grace Umbridge and Susan Bones.We all changed into our pyjamas and we were sitting on all our beds getting to know each other, we found out that we all have a lot in common so that's great!Eventually at around 12 in the morning we all climbed under our blankets. I fell asleep once my head hit the pillow.
