Life As A Lovegood

Chapter 1

I ran through the barrier to get onto platform 9 and 3/4 followed closly by my Dad and Luna, my sister. The first thing I seen was a scarlet train which I know to be The Hogwarts Express.I was so excited to be going to Hogwarts!I was so curious to see what house I would be in and I thought maybe Ravenclaw as all my family had been in Ravenclaw.I gave my Dad a big hug
"See you at Christmas, Dad" then I hugged Luna "Love you both" I said

I climbed onto the train and hauled my trunk in behind me (with help from some prefect) I walked through the hall looking for a compartment to sit in and I saw a compartment with enough room for one more person, I slid the door open
"Mind if I join you?" I asked politely, A black haired girl with emerald green eyes nodded and exclaimed
"Sure!" I thought that she seemed nice, So I sat next to her
"Hi! I'm Emmie Potter, whats your name?" she asked me, my eyes widened but I felt it would be rude to say anything about her name being Potter, perhaps it was just coincidence
"Pleased to meet you, I'm Amelia Lovegood" Emmie pointed to a boy she looks rather alike and said
"That's Harry, we're twins, if you couldn't tell" Harry smiled awkwardly and waved. There was no way that was coincidence, they were the famous Potters. I noticed a girl with bushy brown hair
"I'm Hermione Granger by the way" she says this quickly, I don't think I like her very much next I noticed a girl with beautiful blonde hair and bright blue eyes
"I'm Grace Umbridge" she said, I turned to look at a girl with dirty blonde hair and green eyes
"I'm Sophie" she said but she didn't give me her second name unlike the others which was odd, I thought, but I tried to ignore it and lastly I seen a red haired boy with freckles and he says
"Oh HI! I'm Ron, Ron Weasley" he seems nice, I thought
"It's a pleasure to meet all of you, I'm Amelia Lovegood" Hermione Grangers eyes opened in surprise when I said my name but she looked odd...
"Your Father does the Quibbler?" She asked me
"Yes" I said with pride, even knowing she obviously didn't like the Quibbler, She nodded curtly. They all seem very nice I thought well except maybe Hermione.

Ron stood up and stuck his head out the window me and Hermione did the same and we all waved good-bye to our parents but Ron spotted what must be his little sister crying and he yelled
"Don't worry Ginny! We'll see you at Christmas! And next year you'll be coming with us!" and with that the train started moving Me, Ron and Hermione waved to our parents until they were out of sight and we all sat back down.I sat and talked with my new friends for the rest of the train journey

Hogsmeade Station

The train started to slow down and we all stood up when an announcement came on the loudspeaker
"Please leave any luggage on the train and it will be brought to the castle seperately, Thank You" We all made our way down the corridor and climbed off the train. I heard a man shout
"FIRS' YEARS OVER HERE! FIRS' YEARS HERE!" I looked in the direction of the voice and I saw a huge man. I noticed that both Harry and Emmie's faces lit up and they both exclaimed
"HAGRID!" In unison
"Ah Harry, Emmie good to see ye" he then raises his voice so everyone can hear
"FIRS' YEARS FOLLOW ME TO THE BOATS!" We all followed Hagrid "RIGH' FOUR PEOPLE PER BOAT" Me, Grace, Ron and Sophie all climbed into a boat together.
