Natasha and Percy had an interesting relationship to say the least. Both were 21 and had been working for SHIELD for multiple years, and yet had never had an actual conversation that was not work related. Yet, they exchanged small touches, sat next to each other in meetings, and tried to touch each other in the most intimate way possible without anyone noticing.

But they were both workaholics, never taking a break or getting a social life. I mean, Percy is the multiple time savior of Olympus who's friends are all dead and Natasha used to be an enemy spy/assassin/ballerina until she switched to the good side and never had any friends in the first place, so it was acceptable, even expected, that they worked constantly. They didn't have anything better to do. Though the difference between them was that in her free time, Percy was always out and about, conversing with people, playing pranks, or training. The place she spent the least time in the whole facility was her room, as she hated being confined in a small area with no other people. Natasha, on the other hand, was either training, doing something that nobody even wanted to know about in her room as she always came out looking ready to kill more people, (she was actually just reading or watching YouTube but she enjoyed scaring people), or was hanging out with Clint.

But everything changed when the two best agents in all of SHIELD were called up to Fury's office. Everyone they passed seemed to stare, because if the two best agents SHIELD had ever had were going to go on a mission together, somethin' real fuckin' bad musta' happened. They had actually been on a mission together once before, but nobody knew what they had done. Obviously, it was 'highly classified'. But as the two women walked up to the Directors office, back straight with serious faces, the black haired, green eyed women couldn't help but break down laughing. She was in one of the main cafeterias at the time, but she just found the suspense hilarious, so she let all the agents watch as just crumpled to the floor, wheezing her heart out. She managed to choke out a 'sorry' before she stood up, wiping tears from her eyes, and continued her journey.

On the last stretch of hall, both of the women had to walk next to each other because they were going in the same direction. Natasha took this as an opportunity to brush Percy's hand with her own, but Percy took it a step further by squeezing her ass for a second. (People, please, please, and I cannot stress this enough, DON'T TOUCH OTHERS IN INAPPROPRIATE WAYS WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT!!! Percy and Tasha have a mutual agreement that this is ok between the two of them, but sexual harassment is never ok. Back to the story...) Natasha made no sign that this intimate gesture had had any effect on her, but inside she was having a huge gay panic.

Finally, the pair made it to the office without saying a word to each other. Percy knocked on the door three times before just opening it, while Natasha sent her a questioning look. It was clearly in the rules that you have to have the directors clear permission to enter, and here was this young woman, just entering without the go ahead. But when the two women did enter, Fury didn't look at all surprised that they had just come in without his say so. Instead, he took his feet off his desk and sat with an emotionless face. The two stood before him, waiting for what they thought would be one of the toughest missions they had ever done since they would be doing it together, but there was their director, looking calm as ever.

Finally, after a minute of silence, the man let out a sigh and lent back in his chair. He looked back up to meet the woman's eyes.

"Look, what I'm about to say may sound.... unappealing to the two of you, but it is compulsory, and you do not have a choice in the matter." He said with a serious face. Both of the women had masks of emotionlessness on their faces, but inside they were really confused. What he was about to say couldn't be so bad that they would try to back out, could it? Fury sighed again. "You're taking a break." The two had to spend a second recovering from the shock of the statement.

"I'm sorry, WHAT!" Percy exclaimed, having recovered first.

"You're each taking a two week break. You work non-stop and it's terrible for your health. You need to be in tip-top condition for this job, so you're taking a break." He elaborated. It was only a half truth. It was unhealthy for them, but the real reason he wanted them to take a break was because he cared about the both of them deeply and could practically see the sexual tension, so really this was a way to get his two best and favorite agents together. Maybe his ship would finally sail and he could die in peace when the time came. 

Natasha and Percy went to protest at the same time, but Fury sent them a hard glare. "No complaints. You can do it together if you want, and I don't care what the fuck you do, go crazy, but absolutely NO work is to be done. You have an unlimited budget because I know that neither of you will spend it on stupid things like clothing or anything but please, like, don't do that either. Now go! Get out of my sight! You've each got a file with your fake identity and first destination where you can plan the rest of your trip and you two can take it from there. Two weeks, go!" He exclaimed with a shooing motion. The two women backed out with annoyed faces and immediately made their way to their separate rooms. This would be an interesting adventure to say the least...

I promise this one is going to get a lot more interesting so even though this one was a little slow, please give the next couple parts of it a try.
