Diana's POV
So after we resolved that she was a book where I am from, I was a movie where she is from, and we are currently in the MCU, we had one course of action. Play out life in this universe until we decided to do something about it, because neither of us were very eager to pass up the unique opportunity to live in the Marvel Cinematic fucking Universe.
So what was our plan? Why, enroll in MidTown and spy on Smol Bean Parker, of course. So that's exactly what we did. Percy had apparently learned a few tricks from a certain son of Hephaestus, so she created a bunch of fake people, her and I included. Her name would be Persephone Johnson and mine would be Diana Paice. We hoped that nobody would make the connections between Perseus Jackson and Diana Prince, because we tried to get them as close as possible to our real names.
Percy managed to sign us up online, so we would start on Monday. Today was Friday, so we decided to get some stuff for our stay. There was money on the counter (a credit card like the one that the lotus casino gave them), and the small apartment in Queens was already fully furnished. The cabinet was stocked with cereal, multiple bags of chips, licorice, and some freeze-dried cheese.
Percy found a note stuck to the fridge by a magnet, and she read it out loud.
"Dear our finest pawns, don't worry, no life threatening event is happening. We were just bored and needed someone to provide entertainment, so here you are. Your friends have been informed that you are perfectly safe, but time works differently here than it does in each of your universes so one month here will be less than an hour in the sea spawns universe and around 45 minutes in the immortals. Hope you enjoy your stay, the fates." She finished. She looked up at me. "Basically, their just screwing with us."
