The next day, the baker's wife searched for Rapunzel. She finally found her tower hidden deep in the woods. She decided to try the call:
"Uh, Rapunzel, Rapunzel? Let down your... hair?" What hair?, she thought. Suddenly, a long golden rope of hair fell in front of her. She looked at it, The strand as radiant as gold!, she remembered.
Suddenly, she heard the prince galloping towards her, so she ran away. She then happened to run into her husband. "I see you have the cow and the cloth!"
"Eeyup!" the baker stood tall. "And what about you?"
"Well... I got so close to getting the other two objects, but then other problems interfered, and..."
"Hey, it's alright." The baker put his hand on her shoulder. "We only have two more things to locate, and we've got the two of us! It takes two to find the two!" They both laughed and chased each other like little kids around a tree.
Jack came rushing up to them with a golden egg. "Here," he handed the baker the egg. "I've got far too many eggs now." He then saw Milky White. "Oh, you're okay!" But the cow suddenly gave out a long low MOOooo... and collapsed on the ground. Jack listened to the cow's chest. "Milky White's gone." he mumbled.
The baker and his wife gave each other a miserable look. "Find three." they whispered.
