Truly Madly Deeply

Arriving in Anna's apartment, both Elinor and Anna slipped out of their high heels, tossed them into the corner and dumped down onto the couch.

„Ahhh this is so much better.", Anna supported both her feet on the coffee table and closed her eyes. „A massage would be heaven now omg"

„Yes I agree", Elinor rested her elbow on the armrest and laughed at her.

„Ladies Ladies" Jamie leaned against the doorframe that connected the living room and the hallway and raised his hands in devotion.
„I'll go grab some food for you guys now, so unfortunately the massage has to be omitted.
I'm deeply afflicted I can't fulfill all the ladies' wishes" his lips formed a cocky pout.

Anna sighed stagy, „A Pepperoni Pizza will do"

„Okay, noted...what about you?" Jamie raised an eyebrow at Elinor.

„I'll go for Hawaii then" she said.

Anna inhaled sharply in dismay.

„Pineapple on pizza" Jamie turned to Anna and pointed his finger at Elinor „She really got taste."

„Well, It's the best." Elinor stated and reached out for her wallet that was in her little bag.

„Nanana" Jamie snapped it before Elinor could say anything and put it onto a drawer „My treat." With that he turned around and disappeared in the staircase. „I'll be back in about half an hour!"

As soon as they heard the click sound of the door being shut, Anna straightened herself and grabbed a pillow.

„SoooOoo" she tilted her head and wiggled her eyebrows „tell me about you and Jamie."

„What do you mean?" Elinor positioned her legs on the couch and embraced her knees.

„Oh don't act all innocently. I know I missed something and I want to know what it is!"

„Well, we used your kitchen and talked and laughed...and he was really cute and attentive and all..." Elinor's thoughts drifted and she looked out of the window, observing the clouds that covered the starry sky.

„Aaand...?"

„And...we...almost kissed."

Anna threw her pillow towards Elinor. It hit her head, tearing her out of her thoughts.
„Ow! That hurt!"

„Omg wha...", Anna was flabbergasted but in total excitement „Okay, I knew you guys were kinda a thing but that was fast."

„As I said...almost." Elinor rubbed her head but then dropped her hand down onto her lap „ I don't know why...I'm never that over-hasty with anyone. But when I'm with Jamie it somehow seems like I know him since forever, I feel like, I could tell him anything and everything and...I'm talking too much again, don't I" Elinor reached for the pillow that hit her face mere seconds ago and cuddled up, looking down to the floor.

„Yup...just like in old times" Anna smiled and rested one hand on Elinor's shoulder „But don't worry. If you ask me, I'd say that you guys are meant to be and I'm sure he feels the same."

„You really think so?" Elinor raised her head a bit.

„I'm certain." Anna smiled „And you shouldn't bother your head with this too much.
Come on, let's get changed, some joggers will lighten the mood" She stood up and stretched her muscles, then she disappeared in the hallway.

Elinor sighed and followed her. It was then she realized that she was starving. Quickly, she changed her dress into some grey joggers and a black shirt. She opened up her brown hair that it framed her face  loosely and headed back to the kitchen, helping Anna to set the table.
