I had already decided that I was going to tell Rhiannon about Hector and I today as it was the weekend. Plus, she is my best friend. She deserves to know who her best friend is in a relationship with. I don't know how she would react to it being a teacher though...
Rhiannon came over to my house as instructed and we went up to my bedroom, of course. I mean, I wouldn't want my parents to listen in. I can't even begin to imagine how they'd react to it. They would probably try and sue, knowing them.
"So, what is it you wanna tell me?" Rhiannon sat happily on my bed.
"I don't exactly know how to say it", I said awkwardly.
"Just say it out straight", Rhiannon advised me.
"I have a boyfriend", I revealed.
Rhiannon's eyes went wide with excitement. She suddenly squealed with happiness.
"Who? Who? Who?" She asked.
"This is the hard part", I bit my lip nervously, "It's, um, Hector".
"Who?" Rhiannon asked, not knowing who that was.
"Hector Reid", I answered confidently, "That's right, our PE teacher".
Rhiannon suddenly burst out laughing.
"No, you're not!" She laughed, "It's all in your head, Gabby".
"No, it's not!" I argued, "It's true! He kissed me in that graffiti room down stairs in the school. And we have slept together".
"Wide imagination you have", Rhiannon continued laughing, "Can you imagine? You and Mr. Reid?"
"I don't have to imagine because it's real", I glared.
"Yeah, alright", Rhiannon said.
"I have proof!" I said, picking up my phone.
I showed her various texts from him.
We need to be more careful about our relationship...

Rhiannon's laughing expression turned into a shocked one.
"Gabby, you can't do this with a teacher!" Rhiannon scolded, "Youse will get in trouble".
"Do you believe me now?" I asked.
"Yeah", Rhiannon replied.
"Good", I snapped, "Next time, believe me no matter what I say, got it?"
"Yep", she nodded, "He could get arrested, you know?"
"I know", I nodded sadly.
"Wait, I thought you and Barry were together?" Rhiannon asked.
"What? No!" I rejected, "Why does everyone keep saying that?"
"We can all see it", Rhiannon said, "The way you look at him, the way he looks at you. You're always together. He talks about you non stop. I even saw you holding hands once".
"We're just friends", I said quietly.
"Well, you better tell that to Mr. Reid", Rhiannon nodded, "If I were him, I'd be well mad".
