Chapter Twenty Nine- Steve-O's Entrance

Another normal day at Waterloo Road. Well, at least what I thought would be normal.

As Dynasty, Imogen and I walked through the gates of the school, a really nice car dangerously pulled up in the car park. The windows were blackened so we couldn't see who it was.

Us three girls watched curiously at the newcomer. The windows slowly slid down to reveal a dodgy-looking guy.

Dynasty's eyes went wide and she ran over to the man.

"Steve-O?" Dynasty squealed.

The man apparently called "Steve-O" stepped out of the car and gave Dynasty a big hug.

I didn't even notice Barry standing behind Imogen and I, watching Dynasty and Steve-O.

"Who is that?" I asked Barry.

"Steve-O, Dynasty's boyfriend", Barry answered.

"I thought she was with Kevin?" I asked.

"Woah, she better not be", Barry laughed, "He's not the type of bloke to let these things slide".

Barry turned to me.

"You stay well clear of him, you got it?" Barry informed me, looking worried.

"Why?" I asked.

"He's not good news", Barry said, "Just got out of prison for robbing a bank".

"Thought you liked trouble?" I smiled.

"I do", Barry quickly smirked, "But only your kind".

Barry winked at me and walked off.

I watched Steve-O continuously kiss Dynasty on the lips. I felt bad for Kevin.

Imogen and I looked at each other and shrugged, unknowingly.

You know them people that, just when you look at them, you instantly know they'll be trouble? Steve-O was definitely one of them. He had a look about him- a dangerous one. I didn't trust him at all.

Imogen and I went to our next History lesson. Dynasty was supposed to be in our class but she was nowhere to be seen. She was probably with Steve-O.

After History, Dynasty still wasn't there. We both got through the whole first two periods without Dynasty being here.

But, at lunch break, we found her and Steve-O hugging each other goodbye. Dynasty didn't look too happy though for some reason.

Once Steve-O had left, Imogen and I ran up to her. All of a sudden, she just burst into tears. I gave her a hug and asked her what's wrong but she didn't reply. We both took her to the girl's bathrooms.

"Tell us what happened", I consoled her.

"No, I can't say!" Dynasty cried.

"Yes, you can", Imogen said.

"No", Dynasty shook her head, "Just forget it, yeah?"

Her mascara was trickling down her face.

"Get Mrs. Mulgrew", Imogen instructed me.

I nodded and ran off to find her. Fortunately, she was in the staff room as I had guessed.

"Miss, we need you to come to the girl's bathrooms", I panted, "Dynasty's crying her eyes out and she won't tell us why".

Mrs. Mulgrew quickly followed me into the girl's bathrooms. She went over to Dynasty and hugged her.

"You need to tell me what's wrong", Mrs. Mulgrew said, "Otherwise I can't help you".

Dynasty hesitated for a while.

"It's Steve-O!" Dynasty sobbed.

"Who's that?" Mrs. Mulgrew asked.

"He's my ex-boyfriend", Dynasty answered, "But he thinks we're still together".

"Right, what did he do?" Mrs. Mulgrew persisted.

"He forced me..." Dynasty paused.

"He forced you to what?" Mrs. Mulgrew asked.

"To have sex!" Dynasty let out a massive sob and hid her face in her hands.

I stared into the distance. I was fuming with this Steve-O. I wasn't going to let a pathetic man get away with raping one of my best friends.
