It was the last day of the week and me and Mr. Reid had been more careful around school. Thankfully, I had PE today so we could be together without actually being together.
It was the first period of the day so I rushed to school. I was the first person to get changed, yet again.
I ran over to Mr. Reid and he smiled at me. I went to talk to him but everyone else came running over quickly. We had been doing PE with the boys once a fortnight now so it was normal.
As Mr. Reid was telling us what we were going to be doing today, Barry Barry slowly edged his way next to me. I saw Mr. Reid looking at us, concerned. Maybe checking if he wasn't going to try anything.
"You and me. Again. What do you think?" He whispered in my ear.
"No way", I hissed.
He laughed cruelly.
"We'll see", he said.
"So, I want everyone to practise doing that, okay?" Mr. Reid finished talking.
Everyone started running around, exercising. Mr. Reid walked over to me and Barry, laughing.
"Mr. Barry, give it up", Mr. Reid laughed sourly.
"Give up what, sir?" Barry asked innocently.
"Do you honestly think that Gabriella would even consider getting back with someone like you?" Mr. Reid glared at him.
"Well, she doesn't have a choice now, does she?" Barry smirked.
"And why would that be?" Mr. Reid asked.
"So, are you two official, then?" Barry smiled evilly, "Or are you just gonna jump at any opportunity to go making out in closets?"
Mr. Reid's face tensed up. He gripped Barry's shoulder and dragged him to the other end of the field where no one could hear us. I followed.
"That's some imagination you have", Mr. Reid said to Barry.
"Oh really, sir?" Barry asked, challenging him, "So, am I just seeing things then?"
"Okay, what things have you apparently 'seen'?" Mr. Reid mocked.
"Well, where do I begin?" Barry laughed, "Well, I was really late for changing for PE about a week ago so I hung back because I heard you two talking. Then, I heard Gabriella asking you why you care. Then, it went silent for a while so I peered round and saw you two making out".
Me and Mr. Reid stared at him, worriedly.
"You're a good teacher, sir", Barry said sarcastically, "It'll be a shame to see you go".
"What, so you're just gonna tell everyone?" Mr. Reid asked.
"No", Barry surprisingly said, "See, that would be to easy. I won't tell them on a certain condition".
"Gabriella is not getting back with you", Mr. Reid said sternly.
"I know", Barry said, "So, how about you just pay me £20 a week and nobody will ever hear of it".
"What?!" Mr. Reid asked, "I'm not giving you any money".
"Fine", Barry said, "Nice knowing you, sir".
He began to walk away.
"Wait", Mr. Reid said loudly.
Barry turned around.
"You won't regret this, sir, you're secret is safe with me", Barry said.
"I didn't even say I'd pay you yet", Mr. Reid snapped.
"Yeah, but I can tell you're too coward to not pay me", Barry smirked.
"Just go", Mr. Reid said.
"I'll expect £20 next week", Barry said before running off..
