I decided to go to school today as my head didn't hurt that much. My shoulders and cheek were really sore though.
I trailed into school and was greeted by a massive hug from Dynasty.
"I can't believe you did that!" Dynasty pulled away, "I didn't even think you liked me that much".
"To be honest, I was unsure about our friendship at first", I answered truthfully, "But, then I got to know you and what Steve-O did to you...Well, it's not right".
"But you risked yourself getting killed for me", Dynasty said, "Barry told me".
"Well, that's what friends are for, right?" I smiled.
Dynasty gave me a smile of massive appreciation before walking off.
I saw Barry talking to Darren.
"You alright, Gabriella?" Barry asked when he spotted me.
"I'm fine, thanks", I nodded and smiled, "You are an amazing person, you know that? Thank you so much for...for what you did last night".
Darren randomly just burst out laughing.
"Did you two spend the night together or something?" Darren winked.
"No, not in that way", I replied.
"You just thanked him for what he did last night!" Darren smirked.
Ugh. So immature.
I rolled my eyes and smiled at Barry. Barry smiled back but in a different way. A flirtatious way.
I realised that we had PE today again. But, this time it was not with the boys.
As always, I was the first person changed. The only reason I speedily changed so quickly is because I wanted to talk to Hector before the other girls came running over.
"Hey", Hector smiled, showing all of his glistening, white teeth, "How are you?"
"I'm great!" I jogged on the spot enthusiastically.
"Someone's feeling motivated", Hector laughed.
At that moment, all the other girls were changed so they made their way to us. Rhiannon gave me a look knowingly. I had almost forgotten that I had told her about Hector and I.
"Right, we will be doing a bit of football today", Hector clapped his hands together.
Kacey's face lit up.
"So, just start warming up for now", Hector requested, "In pairs!"
Rhiannon immediately ran over to me and we started running around the field. To be honest, for Rhiannon's benefit, I pretended to be a slow runner so that Rhiannon wouldn't feel slow. I was actually rather fast.
We ran around the field twice then returned to Hector and a few other girls.
"Good work", Hector winked at me.
Once all the girls had finished their work outs, they arrived back here.
"Okay, I want you guys to divide into two teams", Hector announced, "And choose your positions. Team captains will be Lula and Gabriella".
Lula and I made our way to the front and I allowed Lula to choose her first person first.
"Dynasty", Lula said.
"Rhiannon", I chose.
"Imogen", Lula said.
"Kacey", I said.
I knew I didn't get along with Kacey that well but I knew she was good at football. Lula and I continued choosing our team until there was no people left.
"Right", Hector smiled, "On the pitch, ladies!"
We all ran onto the football pitch.
Nearly everyone on my team had no idea how to even play football so we all looked at Kacey helplessly yet hopefully. Kacey explained to us the rules of football and (eventually) we understood. We all got into our positions on the pitch and Hector blew the whistle for us to start.
It's weird how one sport can make you bond with people so well. I actually happened to score a goal, surprisingly. Kacey scored about three.
After the match, Kacey stared at me, looking rather impressed.
"You're alright for a posho", Kacey smirked.
"Seriously, what does that mean?!" I asked, laughing.
"You'll find out one day", Kacey replied.
"Is this whole us-ignoring-each-other thing over now?" I asked hopefully.
"I guess so", Kacey shrugged.
We both smiled at each other and ran back to the changing rooms.
