Chapter Eight- Bad Breakup

I woke up on Wednesday morning, receiving a text from Barry.

Morning, gorgeous. ;) Bx

I rolled my eyes and went to school. I had planned out how I was going to break up with him. Quick and easy, like ripping off a plaster.

"Hey, beautiful", I heard Barry.

His came up behind me and grabbed the sides of my stomach with his hands. He spun me around and planted a firm kiss on my lips.

"Um, Barry, I need to-" I started.

"Barry, can you get to lessons, please? You're late", Mr. Reid said, looking and sounding annoyed.

Barry sighed, kissed me and walked off to his next lesson. I was about to walk off to mine as well.

"Wait, Gabriella", Mr. Reid stopped me.

I turned around and looked him in the eyes.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Mr. Reid asked me.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"With him?" Mr. Reid asked, nodded towards the door where Barry walked through.

"I am not doing anything", I lied.

"Don't lie to me, Gabriella", Mr. Reid said sternly, "I saw you two".

"Why do you care anyway?" I said.

"Um..." Mr. Reid paused, "Because he's dangerous!"

"What?" I asked.

"I'm just saying, you'll end up hurt", Mr. Reid said.

"I'm sorry", I replied, "It was a mistake. I'm finishing it today anyway".

Mr. Reid's hurt expression faded away and a smile replaced it.

"Okay", he smiled, "Good decision. Bye".

I was on my way to my lesson. Then a thought entered my mind. I had very strong feelings for Mr. Reid and the quicker I broke up with Barry, the better. I decided to do what Dynasty did to me so I called him out of lessons.

"Mrs. Mulgrew would like to see Barry", I lied to Miss. McFall.

Barry smiled at me as he got up and walked out.

"Does she really want to see me?" He asked.

"No", I said with an emotionless expression.

He smirked and went to kiss me but I stopped him.

"Do you want to go somewhere more private?" I asked.

It may have came across the wrong way. We went to the room near the changing rooms near PE. It had graffiti all over the walls.

"Barry, I need to talk to you", I said, seriously.

"What is it, babe?" Barry asked, concerned.

"I don't think we are going to work", I said, "So, I'm sorry but I'm calling things off with you".

I studied his reaction. He looked hurt for a moment but then his expression turned to anger.

"No", he said, "You're not".

"Um, yes I am. You can't tell me what to do", I said.

"Yeah?" He glared, "Watch me".

He walked over to me and kissed me intensely. I tried to push him away but his hands were pushing me against the wall so I couldn't move.

"Get off me!" I screamed, but he carried on kissing me.

"HEY!" A familiar voice shouted.

I felt Barry being pushed off of me and he fell on the ground.

Mr. Reid started yelling at him.

"Sir, I was only messing around", Barry said, "I wouldn't try it on with a skank like her anyway".

"Go to the cooler and stay there for the rest of the day", Mr. Reid said to Barry.

Barry sighed and stormed our of the room, glaring at me.

Mr. Reid automatically pulled me into a hug. This time the tears weren't fake. I felt him kiss my forehead. His lips were soft.

Mr. Lowsley had to ruin it because he came running down the stairs into the room.

"Hey, what's going on? I heard shouting", He asked, walking in the room.

Mr. Reid immediately pulled away quickly when he heard Mr. Lowsley's voice.

"Um, it was Barry causing trouble again", Mr. Reid said.

"Of course. I should've guessed", Mr. Lowsley laughed, "So, why are you two down here?"

"Uh, um, I was just asking her what happened", Mr. Reid stuttered.

"Okay", Mr. Lowsley said curiously, "Well, Gabriella, you better get back to class".

I walked to my lesson, glancing back at Mr. Reid. Mr. Lowsley was talking to him. I saw Mr. Reid smile at me.
