Chapter Forty Four- Telling Dynasty

I have been feeling so bad about mine and Barry's many kisses and that night.

Today was Sunday. Saturday was too boring. I just went shopping as usual.

And, I can officially say that I have decided that I will be telling Dynasty about Hector and I today. There are three reasons-

1. If Dynasty is a better friend than Rhiannon, then that means I should tell her.

2. I can't hold it in much longer. Whenever a new person finds out, it feels relieving.

3. I seriously cannot stand to watch Dynasty flirt and giggle with Hector any more! It's sickening!

So, I was on my way to Dynasty's house immediately. I knocked on her door and Mrs. Barry came to answer it.

"Can I help you?" She asked, looking a bit annoyed.

"Is Dynasty in?" I asked.

Mrs. Barry simply gestured upstairs. I took the hint and went upstairs.

I was just about to enter Dynasty's room until Barry stopped me.

"Couldn't keep away from me?" Barry winked.

I laughed and shook my head. I gave him a quick smile before walking into Dynasty's room.

"Hey, Gabz", Dynasty greeted me as I walked in, "What's up?"

"I just needed to tell you something quite important", I bit my lip nervously.

Dynasty immediately stopped adjusting her makeup in the mini mirror she had out and stared at me, understanding that this was serious.

"Yeah, sure. What is it?" Dynasty asked.

I went and sat on her bed.

"Well, it's Hector and I", I started.

"Who the hell is Hector?" Dynasty asked.

"The guy you have a crush on!" I said.

"Oh, Mr. Reid?" Dynasty pulled a face, "Nah, I got over that crush ages ago".

"It's been three days..." I said.

"Okay, not so ages ago", Dynasty laughed.

"Anyway, Hect-Mr. Reid and I are, um..." I pause, trying to think of how to put it into words, "Seeing each other?"

"What?" Dynasty's eyes went wide, "Are you sure you're not just imagining things?"

"I'm sure", I nodded.

"Wow", Dynasty said, taking it all in.

"I'm surprised you even believe me", I squinted, "Rhiannon didn't at first".

"Rhiannon knew about this and didn't tell me?!" Dynasty asked, looking shocked and annoyed, "That little-"

"The point is-!" I stopped her, "I just wanted to tell you".

"Thanks for being honest", Dynasty nodded.

See, that there just proves that Dynasty is a good friend. Understanding, belief and support.
