Chapter Seven- Oops

Tuesday morning. I woke up because of my annoying alarm. I hit the 'stop' button, turned over and read the time. 11:00AM. I yawned heavily. Today was going to be...Wait, 11:00AM?! I looked at the time on my phone to make sure. Yes, it's correct. I must have set my alarm wrong! Without hesitation, I jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth, threw on my school clothes, put on shoes and ran to school.

By the time I got there, the first period was over. I read my times table. Second period- PE. Yes! Luckily, I had left my PE kit at school.

I quickly ran to the changing rooms and avoided Dynasty and Kacey. Instead, I stood next to Rhiannon.

"What do you want?" Rhiannon snapped.

Why was she in such a bad mood? Oh. It was just then that I remembered our fight.

"I am really sorry about last week, Rhiannon", I said, "I did not mean it".

"It's alright", she smiled.

"Great!" I said enthusiastically, "Friends again?"

"No", she said.

I felt sadness all over me.

"Best friends again", she laughed.

Yes, Rhiannon Salt was definitely the best friend I have ever had. I have never told her though. I didn't want her thinking I was soft.

I got changed in under five minutes then ran on to the field. Mr. Reid was already there and I was the first student.

"That was quick!" Mr. Reid smiled.

"Yes, well, you haven't seen me change!", I blurted out.

I just realised how creepy that sounded.

"Um, I mean. I meant to say-" I began.

"I know", Mr. Reid winked playfully at me.

That was when the other kids ran over to us. Including the boys...

"Oh, yes, today we are doing PE with the boys", Mr. Reid announced.

There were groans and moans from the girls and cheers and laughter from the boys.

A rather attractive (not as attractive as Mr. Reid, of course) boy came over to me and started looking me up and down.

"Wow, you are fit", his scouse accent complimented me.

"Thanks, I guess...?" I said awkwardly.

"You're accent is well sexy", he winked, "Barry's the name. Barry Barry. I'm so good they named me twice".

I laughed. So this was Dynasty's brother? He didn't seem that dangerous.

"Gabriella Wark", I said.

"Your name is gorgeous as well", he said, "Do you even have any bad streaks?"

"I got expelled a few times in my old school", I said.

"Well, that just turns me on", he winked again.

"You're a bit straightforward, aren't you?" I said.

"Just being honest", he laughed, "So, you wanna go somewhere after school?"

Instinct took over my speech.

"Okay", I smiled.

"Great", he smirked, "Meet me at the gates straight when the end bell goes".

"Okay, see you then", I said.

He stood there, smiling at me for a while before winking and leaving.

PE went quickly. Mr. Reid didn't really say anything to me for the rest of the lesson. Although, I did see him watching me when I was talking to Barry.

The last period of the day (Maths) also went quickly. The bell rung and I walked out of school. I saw Barry in a red convertible.

"Wow", I exclaimed, "Is this really your car?"

He seemed satisfied with my amazement.

"Course", he laughed, "Get in".

I got in his car and he drove us off to somewhere. We arrived at an unfamiliar bar. We both got out of the car and he grabbed my hand as we walked in.

I was glad to see that the bar wasn't a rough one. Barry took me through a corridor, away from the main part of the bar.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Nowhere in particular", he smirked.

Eventually, we arrived in an alleyway, outside the bar. No one else was there. Before any signal of warning, his lips smashed into mine. I didn't try to push away. I allowed his tongue to explore my mouth. I felt his smirk even though my eyes were closed. I grabbed his back, pulling him closer to me. His hands were on either side of my cheeks. It wasn't the best kiss I've had but I enjoyed it. Like how someone would enjoy a fling, not anything serious.

After a while, we both pulled away, out of breath.

"Okay, so, you're beautiful, you have a really sexy accent, you're name is lovely and you're a great kisser?" Barry exclaimed.

"Yes", I simply said, "And there's more".

"Oh, yeah?" Barry asked, "Go on".

"I am not afraid of anything", I said.

"Okay, what's the worst thing you've ever done?" He asked.

"Well, lets see", I thought, "Well, I've got expelled four times".

"What reasons?" He asked.

"First reason was hijacking a car", I began, "The second was setting the science lab on fire. The third was bringing alcohol into school. And the fourth was stalking a teacher".

"Stalking a teacher?", he asked.

"It's a long story", I said.

We just talked and made out for the next half hour before going back to the car. Barry had given me his number.

"Well, see you tomorrow", Barry said as we arrived at my house.

"Bye", I said, giving him one last kiss and getting out of the car.

He drove off. I stood there, thinking about everything that just happened. What about Mr. Reid?! He is the one I want, not Barry!

Have I just made the biggest mistake of my life?
