Chapter Six- Two Barry's Down One To Go

The weekend had gone really quickly. All I did was think about Mr. Reid hugging me. Also, I have been so confused about what happened on Friday. Mr. Reid acted weird when Mr. Lowsley was questioning him about me. Like I said, maybe he feels the same way about me. Lets have a look at the signs. He has touched my face, we have rode on a motorbike together, he has called me his favourite student, he's hugged me, caressed my face and protected me from Dynasty Barry.

It's Monday and I cannot wait to see Mr. Reid. He is all I can think about every second of every day.

Hector Reid...

All of a sudden, I hear a screech of car brakes. I realise that I am in the middle of the road and a car is only centre-meters away from me. The driver is yelling at me, telling me to watch where I'm going. I just nearly died thinking about Mr. Reid...

I shook away my thoughts just in case I nearly got ran over again. Shortly, I arrived at school. I was happily walking through the school gates until a rude girl started shouting at me.

"Hey, are you the idiot that had a go at my sister?" She shouted.

"Ah, so you are the Kacey Barry she speaks of", I assume.

"Yeah, just stay away from my family!" Kacey says, "You're pathetic!"

"Kacey, go to the cooler", Mr. Reid sighs.

"Why me?" She asks, raising her voice.

"Because it's enough that your sister is harassing Gabriella and I will not have you start on her too!" Mr. Reid snaps.

"I am not going to be nice to a whiny little cow like her!" Kacey yells.

"Just go to the cooler, Kacey", Mr. Reid says calmly.

"Whatever", Kacey says whilst walking away.

"Thank you", I smile at Mr. Reid.

"It's fine", he smiles back, "Look, they can't treat you like this. If them or anyone does that to you again, tell me".

"I'm not really the type of person to go around telling on people", I reply honestly.

Mr. Reid sighs.

"Do you trust me?" He asks, looking me straight in the eyes.

"Yes", I say.

"Well, then you can tell me", he says, "And, um, if you are worried about anything else, just come to me, alright? I just want you to know I'm here for you".

I nodded. We just stared at each other for a few seconds before Mr. Lowsley started calling him.

"I've got to go", Mr. Reid said, "Bye".

"Goodbye", I said, smiling.

He then ran over to Mr. Lowsley. I watched him for a while before walking in the school. I walked past the cooler and saw Kacey sitting there miserably. She saw me watching and I gave her an evil smirk. I have got two Barry's in trouble now. I have heard rumours that Barry Barry is the biggest badass in the whole school.

I see that as a challenge....
