Chapter Forty Two- Dynasty's New Crush

The next day of school, I went to find Kevin. I know I sounded really mean right now but Dynasty was my best friend. Come to think of it, she's more of a friend than Rhiannon. So, if Dynasty is a better friend than Rhiannon and I've told Rhiannon about Hector, surely, doesn't that mean that I should tell Dynasty too? Hmm...

I found Kevin who was, once again, chatting away to Connor. I was about to batter his sorry face until Dynasty came running over to us.

"Stop!" Dynasty yelled, worriedly.

"What?" I looked at her, confused.

"It's fine", Dynasty glared at Kevin, "I'm over him. Why would I even bother wasting time thinking about a nerdy little wimp like him? He's pathetic".

Kevin was standing there, looking quite frightening. I turned to glare at Kevin.

"What are you still doing here?!" I snapped at him, "Get out!"

Kevin scurried away quickly. I turned back to Dynasty.

"You've gotten over him already?" I asked, a little unsure and doubtful.

"Yeah", Dynasty shrugged, "Plus, I've got a new crush anyway!"

You see, normal girls would get all excited over this comment. They would probably be squealing with eagerness and begging her to reveal her crush.

But, then there's me... I honestly couldn't care less about who is going out with who or who fancies who. I have always believed that a person's love life should stay private. Of course, mine is. Obviously. I mean, it has to be kept a secret.

"Who is it?" I asked with fake enthusiasm.

"Well, have you ever had a crush on a teacher?" Dynasty asked, excitedly.

"You have no idea..." I said quietly.

"What?" Dynasty asked.

"Nothing", I quickly replied, "Come on, then. Who is it?"

It turns out Dynasty and I had a lot more in common than I though. She likes a teacher, so do I. I don't mean to brag but, fortunately, I am the one who has succeeded in that area.

"It's, um..." Dynasty blushed, "Mr. Reid".

I desperately tried to hide my pissed off expression. My lips turned into a thin line and I forced a smile.

Okay, so, it turns out Dynasty and I really do have A LOT more in common than I thought. Yes, what we had in common was we both had a crush on teachers. But the same one...? Um, no. That ain't gonna happen, honey.

"Oh, really?" I fake smiled.

"Yeah!" Dynasty bounced up and down happily.

"Good for you", I nodded slightly, "So, are you going to make a move? Are you going to flirt? Do you love him? Are you going to get married?"

That's what happened whenever I panicked. I babbled on and on...

Oh, and ON!

"Gabz, you alright?" Dynasty laughed uneasily.

"Uh, I have to go", I said quickly and rushed out.

I guess, the real reason that I am worrying is the fact that Hector has the right to cheat on me. I mean, I cheated on him so why does that mean him and his actions have to be different? I just really hoped he didn't. Otherwise that would seriously be it. Over...
