This film is a fucking masterpiece. Even if you have to watch it with subtitles it's definitely a must watch and my favourite period film.
The chemistry between the actors and the cinematography, the lines, everything is such a perfection. It made me feel butterflies in my stomach.
Every moment of the film keeps you on the edge and keeps wanting to know what's going to happen next.
Although there are some trigger warnings for suicide mentions, sexual abuse, nudity and some other gore scene.
The best part is that although it's a thriller and a period film, it has a beautiful and happy ending for the gays.
