After a few moments of peace, laying comfortably on Lucius's chest, I start to draw tiny invisible circles on his bare chest with my finger, relaxing into him completely. He pulls me closer, if possible, resting his head on me as his eyes flutter shut. I'm beginning to think if I should do the same and go to sleep since I was exhausted after what we had done less than a few minutes ago, when a small bark is heard from behind the closed door of the living room. I frown, staring at the door for a moment, waiting for the now continous sound to stop, but it doesn't.

Instead I sigh, lifting gently off of Lucius, earning a light groan of frustration from him as I stand, his hands reaching out to me. "Kelly, come back here," he whines, making me suppress a giggle at his unusually childish voice, that wasn't very much like him at all. I look down at him, smiling, "Just a sec, I think Scorpion's outside." Lucius huffs as I walk to the door, feeling the intense gaze of his intimidating eyes on my naked body. I turn my head to the left just the tiniest bit to see him smirking at the sight of me, one corner of his lips curling up as I bite my lip, a little shy under his gaze still. When I near the table, I notice my black silk nightgown on the armchair. I pick it up, covering my body with the soft fabric as it touches my skin, my hands skimming my waist to loosely tie the belt on my stomach.

I reach the door, combing my loose hair back with my fingers as I open it, revealing a very excited little puppy, jumping at me for attention. I smile, crouching down to pick him up and cuddling him, "What's wrong?" I ask as he barks again, this time, whining a little. "Did mummy and daddy leave you all alone?" I speak as though I'm talking to a baby, tickling his stomach as his eyes light up.

"I'm sorry," I kiss his silky smooth head, putting him down on the floor. Within two seconds, he charges towards Lucius, barking gleefully as he jumps on his lap, his two tiny paws resting on his chest. I laugh as I watch Lucius, now sat up, start to play with the dog, falling back to the floor as Scorpion jumps on his face, holding him down with one paw and looking at me triumphantly. "Good boy, Scorpion," I giggle, amused by how surprisingly close Lucius has grown to the puppy.

Scorpion sits on his chest panting heavily as Lucius glances at me, examining my visible curves under my nightgown, raising an eyebrow and smirking before turning back to the dog.

"Your mother is looking beautiful, don't you think?" Scorpion barks back loudly in response, making me laugh as I shake my head. "Honestly, Lucius..." I turn away, about to go upstairs for a shower when the objects on the table catch my eye. I sigh, walking closer and resting my hands on the wood, staring at the dark black ring with the sword not so far away from it. I'm thinking carefully, trying to make a decision when I feel two strong hands wrap around my waist, swiftly pulling me back into a hard chest.

"What is it, princess?"

I breathe out in exhaustion, placing my hands on top of Lucius's as I gently stroke the multiple rings on his fingers. "We should destroy it as soon as possible." I melt into him as I feel his lips on my neck, one of his hands leaving my waist to grab my hip instead, keeping me still as he plants small kisses on my skin. "Don't worry darling, we will," he assures me, his head fitting perfectly in the crook of my neck.

As good as it feels, I pull away, turning to face him and show I was serious. "I don't think we should wait any longer," I say, hoping he'll see reason but he merely smiles, pulling me closer to him by my waist again. "Not today love, you need to relax," he says, referring to the slightly painful pounding I had received from him not so long ago. I frown, but he raises an eyebrow, apparently believing his own words. "Please, Lucius," I plead, knowing he couldn't resist my wish. "Can we do it today?" He goes to protest but I cut him off, "And then I'll be at peace, knowing it's finally gone."
