This song has been stuck in my head all day lol ☝
"Cause there is no guarantee, that this life is easy."
Before we finally leave Dee's cottage, I make it clear to her I would rather stay with her than go back to the house, my anxiety levels rising more and more every second. I was truly scared of having to tell Lucius. I mean - how was I going to even bring up the subject?Oh hi Lucius, yes I'm fine and just so you know, I could be pregnant with your child!
Dee had apparated to muggle London where she had bought me a pregnancy test, moments prior to me leaving. She told me it was easy to use and explained it all to me step by step. I found it odd and strangely intriguing how muggles could find out if they were pregnant by urinating on a plastic stick. In the wizarding world, you would go to St Mungoes but due to the fact I was wanted by half the country, we agreed it was a bad idea.
Eventually, I do leave Dee's place after promising her I will apparate instead of walking, in case the snatchers were still out. She hugs me tightly and showers me with kisses before I leave, making me laugh a bit. Then she holds my face in her hands, telling me to stay strong and that no matter what happens, I'll always have her. I tear up at this, pecking her cheek one last ime before walking out of the door, Scorpion in my arms.
She watches me from the door, smiling and blowing me a kiss.
Before I apparate, I blow one back.

I land on the grass smoothly, not even feeling that sick as the cottage was thanfully not that far from here at all. Scorpion barks happily as I lower him to the floor, delighted to see his home again. Running my hand through my hair tiredly, I approach the door, pressing down on the handle to open it.
As soon as there's a big enough gap, Scorpion squeezes through hurriedly, eager to run in and find Lucius. I smile at this, stepping inside the house and closing the door behind me.
I lock it with a spell, Scorpion running up the stairs as I sigh, shaking my head in amusement but extremely exhausted from today. All I wanted was to crawl back into my warm bed and drift off to sleep.
As I walk through the house, approaching the living room, Scorpion suddenly rushes back down to my side, barking repeatedly. "What is it? Is daddy not there?" As I enter the living room, those familiar piercing grey eyes lock with mine, and I feel a chill course through me at how angry his gaze is. I ignore it as though I haven't noticed, looking down at Scorpion who's standing up on his back legs, barely reaching my knee as he tries to get my attention. "Look, see, he's right there."
Lucius is sat on the armchair, once again shirtless with his trousers on, his muscles clearly visible as he sits forward, his elbow resting on his knee. He looks livid, and I see why as my eyes land on the folded note in his hand. Hes gripping it tightly, a furious expression on his face. "What is this?"
I sigh, dragging my palm over my tired face. "I know, I'm sorry. I just... had to see Dee."
Scorpion has already zoomed over to Lucius's leg, barking happily as he puts his paws on his thigh, trying desperately to get his attention. But he fails as Lucius's eyes stay staring into mine, ignoring the puppy. "You had to see Dee."
