We all stand frozen in the room, everyone's eyes on Voldermort as he slowly approaches me. My heart drops, feeling fear inside me that I had never felt before in my life.

Lucius stands beside Bellatrix, his heart slowly breaking with each step Voldermort takes, nearing me.

"I thought you agreed not to call him," Lucius hisses quietly as Bella smiles.

"I lied."

"Kelly, my dear." Voldemort says in his eerily slow voice as he circles me. "I simply cannot believe this is the first time we are meeting. After all, I have been trying to get a hold of you for almost a year now."

I stay silent, breathing heavily as he whispers in my ear. "I wonder how, or rather who kept you hidden from me all this time." He looks at Lucius, making me want to burst into tears right there.

He knew.

"But that no longer matters. You see dear, I'm a very reasonable man." He smiles, turning to Bella. "Bellatrix, is this the boy?"

Bella smirks, "I think so my lord, but the girl says no."

Voldermort sharply turns, looking at me. His eyes are so light, yet all they make me feel is pure darkness. "Is that true?"

I swallow, my throat stone dry. "It's not him." I try to make my voice sound clear, but the fear in it is so obvious.

Voldermort stares into my eyes before finally blinking. "That's all for today," he turns to the room, addressing everyone as he speaks. "It's now time to dispose of the waste." I frown in confusion, wondering what he was talking about. But then he turns to me, the smile still on his face. "And your death is well overdue, my dear."

My eyes widen at his words, and a few gasps are heard in the room.

Bellatrix starts to laugh crazily, Narcissa begins to cry and Draco looks like he can barely stand, his mother holding him to her. Lucius is the only one who stays blank. He stands still, staring at me from across the room, his eyes starting to water.

He looks... broken.

I start to cry, trying my hardest not to sob as Voldermort reaches out, wiping my tears as he tuts. "Come now Kelly, this doesn't have to be so hard."

"Please," I sob. "Please don't kill me. My baby..."

"Oh dear, I'm not going to kill you."

Voldermort produces a dagger from his robe, moving away to stand in the center of the room. He points the dagger in the corner, "He is."

I look up, my throat tightening and my heart breaking when I see who he's pointing to. He hands the dagger to him and he takes it slowly, a single tear sliding down his cheek as he stares at the handle. Voldermort whispers in his ear, "Go."

He approaches me slowly, and when he finally stands before me I've lost it. I'm sobbing uncontrollably. "Lucius, no..."

Lucius holds back a sob, tears falling freely from his eyes now. He stands still in front of me, battling with himself.

"Lucius." Voldermort calls his name, causing him to turn.

"Remember... it's her or Draco."

I gasp, Lucius turning back to me with a pained look. We're both crying now, and I don't bother to hold back. "Do it," I whisper, making him look at me in shock. "What?

"Save Draco," I sob. "Save our child."

He shakes his head.

"Lucius, do it."

I hold his hand, stroking his knuckle gently, like I always did to calm him down. I then lift his hand to my throat, the dagger positioned against my neck. "I love you."

"No..." he shakes his head as I close my eyes, ready to meet my end. "No, I can't!"

In a flash he takes the dagger from my throat, swinging it to the right. It pierces the wall, narrowly missing Bella's head. She gasps and screams in anger but Lucius ignores her, holding my face in his hands as he cries silently. "I love you."

After a moment, he pulls away, and that's when I realise he'd just exposed us.

"Oh come on Lucius," Voldermort shouts. "Kill her! Kill her and your unborn child!"

The room instantly goes deadly silent.

Bellatrix eyebrows raise and Draco watches, his eyes wide with shock.

"Kelly..?"

I hold back my tears, "Draco-"

"Well, well. What is this? It's true?" Voldermort remarks in mock surprise. "Lucius has impregnated the girl? Who ever thought..."

Lucius stands in front of me, holding me behind him. "Whatever your business is, it doesn't involve her." Voldermort growls, looking unhappy at Lucius's words. "I beg you my lord, please leave her be."

Lucius's voice comes out in a desperate tone.

Voldermort sighs, "I'll spare you, Lucius. Since you are my most trusted death eater. But on one condition."

"Yes my lord," Lucius pleads. "Anything."

"... She must die."

Lucius freezes before shaking his head, "No."

"Very well then," Voldermort snarls, holding up his wand. "Avada-"

Lucius spins in a flash, shielding me with his body as we are knocked to the ground.

Then it all goes black.
