I jolt awake, sweat covering my face as I gasp for breath. I had a nightmare- one that I had been getting repeatedly now ever since I had slept away from him. And in the end, just before I woke, it was always the same thing. We never survived.
Harry wakes from his sleep in an instant, rubbing his face tiredly as he watches me from the chair across the room. I breathe heavily, laying back in the bed as he makes his way over to me, getting under the covers beside me. "You okay?"
I nod, resting my head against the bed frame.
"Nightmare?" I close my eyes, nodding again.
"Go to sleep," he says, his voice deep with exhaustion. "I'm right here."
Harry had been there for me more than ever since we had came here a few days ago. He never slept away from me and even then, I knew his intentions were good. He never touched me unless it was appropriate and he never said a bad word about Lucius. Even when I mentioned him, or talked about him, he simply just listened, staying silent.
I trusted him now, just like I did before.
He had already apologised so many times for what happened at the house, and I told him I forgave him. Life was far too short to be holding grudges and I understood that more than ever now.
Now, he's sleeping beside me, his head on the pillow next to me as I settle back in bed, closing my eyes again.
When I wake up, it's early morning, and Harry is already awake, putting on a jacket and looking through the curtains. He smiles when he sees me. "Morning."
I smirk, throwing a pillow at him. He catches it, throwing it back on the bed. "Morning," I say, sitting up and combing my hand through my hair. "How are you feeling?"
"Okay," I yawn, remembering last night when I had woke up.
"You had another nightmare last night." He sits on the bed as I sigh.
"I know."
He stares at me for a moment, quickly reading my face and realising I don't want to talk about it. "Come on," he gets up. "Time for breakfast."
I groan, hiding my face in a pillow. The only reason I was eating was for the baby. If I wasn't pregnant, there was no way I'd have an appetite at all.
"Kelly."
"Okay, okay." I sit up, getting out of bed and putting on a silk black blouse over my tank top. I don't button it up since it wouldn't fit me anymore, instead I leave it open and loose, allowing me to breathe. I quickly pull my wavy hair up into a messy bun, leaving a few of the front strands out. Harry waits patiently for me until I'm done. Then we both go down together, meeting everyone else in the kitchen.
Everyone says good morning before we settle at the table, having our breakfast. I manage to have a bit of toast before chugging down a lot of water. Drinking was a lot easier than eating that's for sure.
"Is everything ready then?" Ron asks, scoffing a muffin.
Harry gives him a look and he instantly goes silent. I frown, "Ready for what?"
Everyone exchanges looks before suddenly becoming interested in their food. "Hello?"
Hermione sighs, "This isn't fair, you need to tell her."
"Tell me what?" I question angrily.
Harry sighs in defeat before turning to me reluctantly. "We're going to Hogwarts today. We've already driven Snape out and we need to find the last horcrux."
