"Not ready to die, not yet..."We land on a damp field, light rain hitting our heads as we sit up. I hear thunder from above, and the clouds have suddenly collided with each other, covering us in the darkness. "Bill," I say, coughing slightly. It was cold out here, and my wet blouse was sticking to me.
"I'm here," Bill stands, helping me up. I look around, only to then realise where we were. We were in the centre of the quidditch pitch, the stands around us were half torn down and screams could be heard from where we were stood.
"Let's go," Bill says, taking my hand and we run as fast as we can out of the stadium, until we reach the school. People were fighting, killing, wounding. It was hard to tell who was good and who wasn't.
"Just run past, okay?" Bill turns to me and I gulp nervously. "I'll protect you."
I nod, taking out my wand from my pocket just in case. "Ready?"
"Yes," I say, and we run.
We nearly have reached the doors when a blast of purple narrowly misses Bill's head. He turns quickly, but the death eater is too fast as he points his wand to us, ready to kill. "Avada-"
"Avada kedavra!" I shout, a bright green light shooting from my wand and into the guys chest. He chokes, grabbing his chest before falling to the ground, his eyes still wide in shock.
I gasp, staring at the body before looking at Bill. "I..."
"It's ok," Bill pulls me into him quickly, holding me close for a moment before pulling us away and we run again. We walk slowly into the castle. "You did good. Don't worry. You'll have to get used to it now."
I nod silently, feeling sick to the stomach.
We dodge a few spells and Bill kills a few more death eaters before he sees the first dragon. It flaps its wings furiously, sending students flying into the castle walls. It opens its mouth and releases a deadly fire that kills a group of people instantly. I shudder as Bill sighs, turning to me. "I have to go, you remember the plan?"
I nod quickly. "Good," he says. "Go to the dorms and hide until I come get you. As soon as this dragon is unhexed, we're going back. All right?"
"Yes!" I shout over all the commotion.
He goes to run before turning back, "Don't do anything stupid Kelly. Not even for him."
I stare at him, about to say something but he's gone in an instant. I turn, about to leave for the dorms when I realise I needed to see Draco. I think for a moment on what to do, but before I know it, I'm rushing through the corridors, calling for him. "Draco! Draco!" I run, looking behind before bumping into someone. "Fuck-"
I look up, and instantly I gasp, fear flooding through me.
As I stare into the eyes of Fenrir Greyback, a smile appears on his face before he launches himself at me. I scream, falling to the floor as he pins me to the ground, taking out a 6 inched crooked blade from his belt.
"No!" I fight back, but he's far too strong and it feels like my bones are slowly being crushed. "No-no-no!" I sob loudly, as he laughs hysterically to himself. I try to prepare myself for the pain as he steadies the dagger on my chest, getting ready to plunge it deep in when all of a sudden he goes still. He stops laughing and I stare at him in confusion, tears streaming down my face.
Then he drops to the floor, and I quickly push him off me, crawling back and sitting against the wall, breathing heavily as I stare at his lifeless body. I see a figure stood in front of me and I quickly realise whoever it was had killed him.
