(When I mention Eastern Europe, I don't mean the geogically correct eastern part of Europe.)

Everything felt so blinding.

"The Obsides Lunae pack has requested the Kings court and audience to bring notice of Athena Noir.
Eighteen years of age, working rank in her original pack, demoted to omega after being taken into her late stepfathers pack. The given mate of Nicholas Seran, future heir of the Eastern Europe Colony."

My eyes were glued to the polished floors. The information I never even wanted to think of all being announced to everyone around me.

"A child born hybrid, illegally created out of matebond."

The words stung my chest a little.

Determined to hide my past from everyone else, I had convinced myself of my own false history.

How could my memory fail me this badly.

"Mother, Alexis Noir, working rank demoted to Omega after transferring to Obsides Lunae. Father Eros Ardelean, Vampire breed. Convict of both worlds. One of the most sought out for Criminals."

I looked up to Archer, his eyes were focused on the speaker but moved onto me.

There was a serious look on his face, more composed than the expression he usually had. He was smart to act inclusive in this court.

Their royal guard could probably sense any change in anyones heartbeat. Preventing any lies to be accepted.

In other words, everyone and anyone could see right through each other.

"Miss Noir along with her mother consequently suffers from a lethal allergy to iron as a result of going through the chemical conversion process which was forced upon the pair by the King's court."

Even though everything that was said made sense to me, I couldn't help but think they were still sugercoating the entire incident.

"The vampire venom in their systems were subdued using the only known treatment, injection of pure iron. Due to this treatment, Miss Noir cannot come in contact with any sort of pure iron. A weakness she possesses. A weakness that can be genetically passed down. As she is mated to the heir of a Colony, this is by law unacceptable and must be dealt with by the Royal Guard."

The announcer was clearly on the Generals side.

"Alpha Morales, I'm sure the accused would like to know why this case has been brought up." The king taunts.

Already influenced by the General.

"Syn Morales, Alpha of Obsides Lunae, you may stand." The General grants.

My jaw tightened at the sight of the man who deserved his son's fate more than anyone else.

"I had to experience the nightmare of any and every loving parent. Losing my child. My first born son. The heir to my pack." He emphasizes the last sentence.

"Indeed the worst possible thing that could happen to all parents." The king grumbles.

"My son, Sailor, died at the hands of a princess. One who stands in this very room." Alpha Morales stated, receiving gasps from around the audience.
