~ ~ ~

It had been a while since I let Azula out for a run.

With her voice irritating me every minute to set her free, I had to wake up extra early before school just so I could head to the woods near the mountain sides.

In our wild form we could blend in with some of the areas. My wolf was mostly grey with pale washed out dark red patches.

Amidst of the grass swaying with the wind, I instantly spot out two of my own kind. Two other wolves rolling around in the distance, much bigger than my size.

They were clearly a mated pair.

The bond between them was so transparent even a human could have sensed it.

Which reminded me.

My 18th birthday is coming up in a few months, and if the Goddess decided to finally give me something good for once in my life then I could be meeting my mate soon.

The thought of finding a mate is just pure excitement and fear. It could easily be one of those possesive freaks. Or worse a merciless Alpha.

I shudder at the numerous thoughts in my head that piled up once I had returned to my dorm.

Luckily school was just around the corner, I could distract myself with work rather than the horror of being tied to an insufferable man.

I may have underestimated how distracted I truely was when screeching sounds immediately brought me back to reality.

To my right, I see a car stopping just mere centimetres away from me. I wondered if I could continue going to this school without my awareness.

"Do you have no will to live woman?" The guy yells at me, parking his car on the side of the road.

"Can't you see I was crossing the road-" I yell back but once the guy gets out of the car and my mouth slightly drops.

It's Mr Supremo.

I may or may not have forgotten his name.

"Of course it's you again," He says walking to me. "I can't even be surprised at this point." He adds, taking his sunglasses off.

I scoff, the sun blinding my left eye. I look at him, squinting, waiting for him to say what he needs to.

"What do you want?" I ask bluntly, getting impatient.

"For you to start being socially aware." He says as if I couldn't understand english.

My face scrunched up as I cringed once I heard him say that god awful word again.

"I'm not dealing with this right now." I shook my head restlessly, walking away to school.

I hear him complain about other things but I can't seem to process the words.

Shame.

Since I arrived at school a little early, I decided to explore the school garden. The whole area looked like a hedge maze.

I manage to find the middle, I think. It was very spacious. There was a willow tree in the middle. Various types of flowers were spread out.

It was like a scene from a fairytale.

I checked my phone, there's still thirty minutes until class starts. So with no other plans, I place my bag down on the grass and use it as a pillow. Gazing at the clouds as I imagine myself with everything I could have possibly want.

For the while, it seemed like I had no problems to deal with. It was perfect and peaceful.

Until I see a large frame covering my view and creating  a nice shade over my head. Once I noticed the blonde curls I let my eyes close.
