"I haven't gotten a chance to see your boyfriend yet."

My eyes squint at Sailor as the sunrise hits me directly while I face him. It was a chilly morning, I was able to hide my expression from him with the scarf I wore.

"He isn't exactly eager to meet you after finding out about those rumours." I tell him honestly. "You shouldn't try to look for him either, he's not the friendliest."

Sailor laughs at me. "I didn't picture you as the type to date."

The two of us were waiting outside the campus, we were hiding from the rest of the school population. It was the only way we could talk without someone secretly taking a photo of us together.

"I didn't plan on it." I mumbled, almost to myself.

"Guess the boys back at the pack weren't good enough for you huh?" He grins and I force a smile out in return.

In the corner of my eye, I catch a glimpse of a shiny blue car. My head turns to the familiar convertible.

Altheo's convertible.

With Nicholas in the passenger seat.

The car slows down and stops right in front of Sailor and I. Given my natural talent of not caring, I maintain strong eye contact with Nicholas.

"What the hell are these pampered fucks staring at?"

My head turned to Sailor's whisper, which he didn't even try to hide. In fact he might as well have said it right to their faces. I gave him an unsure look, not knowing what to tell him.

Fearing the male mind, I kept a small distance from Sailor who stood up straight to intimidate the two idiots in the car.

"Aren't you cold there Athena?" Theo says in a flirtatious tone, completely ignoring Sailor. I shook my head timidly.

Upon seeing the car door open, I almost panic.

My foot takes a step back until my back had bumped against the stone wall behind me. I ended up hitting the back of my head harsly against the material, feeling the instant headache wave through my skull.

"Goodmorning."

Nicholas's tone was patient, he stood just a meter away from Sailor and I.

I couldn't read his face, it was like he mastered the art of composure and I just had to be the victim of his raw skill.

"Morning.." I replied, slightly spaced out. My voice had been a lot quieter than I thought.

I didn't need to look to know that Sailor was waiting for me to explain. He without a doubt was watching to see if this was the said boyfriend that I was talking about.

They were both waiting for me to introduce them.

"Nicholas this is my friend Sailor." I finally spoke as I pull the scarf from my neck.

I was starting to sweat from my nerves, this was the one thing I did not want to be doing early in the morning.

"Best-" Sailor emphasised. "-friend."

I glanced at him with a wide-eyed look. "Sailor this is Nicholas, my-.." My eyes darted to Nicholas, realising he had no clue that I had been claiming him as my boyfriend.

"Boyfriend." Sailor sighed, finishing the sentence for me.

For a second, I doubted if Nicholas had heard him since there wasn't any sort of a reaction on his face. As if it was already established between us long ago.
