The headmistress made me stay after school to explain to her what had happened. She didn't want to ask the others to explain just cause she doesn't want their parents getting involved.

Sometimes I wonder what type of stuff they've done to make a reputation like that for themselves.

It was already dusk. France looks different in the evening. Like it's out of a fairytale.

Street lights were already lit up.

I decided to take the long way home so I could connect with nature after todays events. As I walk through the park, I notice a lipstick rolling my way.

Before I picked it up another hand had reached for it.

We both paused but I had picked it up first afterwards.

"Thank you." The girl mutters as I stood back up.

My eyes widen as I see a beautiful girl standing before me. She was the first person that was this stunning that I hadn't seen at school.

I thought about how she could easily fit in with the lycans seeing as how pretty she was even with the terrible lighting around us.

She pushed a curl behind her ear and thats when I had to snap out of my thoughts. I give her a flat smile before walking away. But she places a hand against my arm lightly.

"I know this sounds a little strange but could you stay here for a bit?"

"Pardon?" I ask her.

"I'm supposed to wait for my ride here, but I just feel uncomfortable being alone." She tells me. "He'll be here in a few minutes." She adds to convince me to stay.

I nodded in response, admiring her. She was still glowing under the streelight, like a heavenly body.

"Forgive me I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Niña. And thank you for this by the way." Niña says, extending out her hand.

"Athena." I smiled as I shook her hand. "It's no problem."

"If you don't mind me asking.." She asks, waiting for my response, I nod."How's Astor?"

I raise my eyebrows in shock.

"The uniform, I used to go there before I had to go abroad. I was just wondering if anything has changed." She explains. I mouth 'oh'.

Well now it all makes sense.

"I'm not sure if anything is different, I just got accepted this year." I tell her. She nods understandingly.

Her phone rings and lights up. "My rides here." She smiles at me.

"I'll be going then." I reply, thankful since I can't keep conversations going for my life.

She waves goodbye as I walk away.

For a moment, in the corner of my eye, I could have sworn I had seen Thomas drive by in a white Porsche.

I was too tired to look back. The streetlights were turning into blurry stars. I needed to get more sleep.

By morning I decided to stay out of school for the rest of the week. Just to let the drama die down since I was already getting threats and emails by Saffron's fans.

The day I returned to school, I had tried to hide from the other students. Everyone was nagging me saying I had so much nerve to disrespect Saffron and make her cry. They even annoyed Chloe so she hid with me aswell. We sat behind a pillar in the performing arts hallway.
