Chapter 15

"What are you doing here?! Get out!! Leave me alone! I'll find a way to deal with my own problems!! Just leave!"

I screamed out in agony. I could feel my breathing becoming abnormal and my heart was racing. I had awoken from a bad dream and was in a stage of shock. I was sweating and tears were flowing uncontrollably down my cheeks. I couldn't move my limbs, it felt like I was paralyzed with fear. As I was indulged in my paralysis i heard a knock on the door. I couldn't answer and so the knocking continued. 

"Y/n? Are you ok? Can I come in?" 

It was the voice of Nanami behind my door. He sounded worried and kept knocking on the door until one moment where he just completely stopped. I saw the light from the opened door lit my room's ceiling. I was facing the ceiling unable to move my arms or legs nor could I move my head. I continued to cry when I saw Nanami's face above mine. He picked me up and hugged me tightly, trying to ease my stiffness. I couldn't help but bury my face in the crook of his neck , crying my eyes out after witnessing that horrible dream. He slowly patted my head and ran his hand over my back easing the pain. All the bad memories disappeared when I felt his warmth and calming sensation. 

"Are you ok? Bad dream? I should get you some water...." -Nanami  

I didn't say anything but held onto his sleeve as he got up. I didn't want him to leave me alone....I wanted him by my side. I looked at him with pleading eyes and he finally gave in and sat down back. I buried my face in my hands trying my best to shake off the horrible feeling from the dream. I was afraid to close my eyes because I feared I'd be reminded of my weak, younger self. I rested my head in hopes of a clear mind but I felt a rush of emotions coming back to me. I clenched my fists but suddenly out of nowhere I felt someone wrapping their arms around me. It was Nanami....he lay beside me, holding me in his arms, calming me down once more. We were both sharing the bed and I couldn't help but fall asleep while in his arms.

Time Skip: Friday~ 

I was all packed and ready, waiting in front of Nanami's doorstep. I had gotten my stuff from my apartment without being noticed yesterday and spent the night by Nanami again. He wasn't bothered with my presence in his house so it was ok for me to stay. Weirdly enough, he told me I could stay whenever I wanted and however long I wanted. 

Where is this bastard? Why isn't he coming? What's so important that it's taking this long to find?! 

When I was about to storm in I saw him walking out with a briefcase in his hand. It had a digital lock on it and had the letters N.K on both sides of the case. There must be something important in this case.....documents for the meeting? Maybe....

I brushed off the thought and got into his car. We were headed to the airport which was couple minutes away from his so-called 'mansion'. When we reached we had our luggage scanned, everything but the briefcase was scanned. It was getting suspicious of how Nanami had held onto the case like if it contained something very important. My curiosity was also killing me to ask him so I did. 

"Hey....what's in there? You seem to be guarding it with your life—" -Y/n 

"Guns." He plainly said with a dead look in his face. Why would he need guns for a business trip? 

"Is there something wrong? Why would we need guns?" -Y/n 

"Well I don't know if you've noticed but a black car was following us on our way to the airport. It seems like the same one from before. I don't think they followed us into the airport but taking caution is necessary." -Nanami 

"Oh....Could it be Sukuna's guys again? Gosh he's persistent. Who even is this Mahito guy he's working for?" -Y/n 

"We should just forget about that stress and focus on this business trip and the agreement." -Y/n 

We were already 5 hours into the flight to Korea. We were meeting with a big investor named Gojo. He was on a trip there also and decided to meet us for a business plan agreement. He was one of our partners in the investment of K.S.C. I never met him before so it was quite interesting imagining how he would look. The flight was long so I decided to take a nap while Nanami was busy with papers.

"Oww", i quietly yelled as I felt my head hit something. I looked over and to my surprise it was Nanami's head. I had accidentally fallen asleep on his shoulder and he also dozed off leaning his head on mine. The air turbulence had caused our heads to hit, which had awaken me but Nanami was still sleeping like a rock. His resting face was so peaceful and his features were now more define. Even though his head was resting on my shoulder, weighing it down, I didn't want to move it or disrupt him from sleeping but the air turbulence was against it. The entire plane shook, causing sleeping people to awake, including Nanami. He looked at me once he realized the situation and hid his face in embarrassment. 

I chuckled softly and held his hand as the plane began to shake. It was my first time on a plane so it was a bit scary when it shook. I could feel my heart going like a rollercoaster as we were preparing for landing. I felt Nanami's grip tightening on my hand as we landed. Everything went well as we got out of the plane and we were waiting for the car Nanami payed to show up. It was the chauffeur of the hotel we were staying at. The meeting was 2 days away from today so we had time to explore our area. 

The car arrived and had taken us to the hotel which was quite close to the ocean. We were at the receptionist and was about to take separate rooms when Nanami intervened. 

"We'll take 1 room for both of us." -Nanami 

UM WHAT?! ONE ROOM? WHY?! IS THIS GUY CRAZY?? WHY WOULD WE SHARE A ROOM?!

"Uh.. Ma'am we'll take 2 separate rooms. Thank you." -Y/N

"No. We're using one room. I have to stay by your side in case you get one of those crazy nightmares." -Nanami

"Oh--" -Y/N

Nanami collected the room key we both had to stay in. It was room 46 on the 5th floor of the building. We walked to the room in silence. I couldn't argue with what he stated earlier because it was true, there was no telling if I could get another nightmare that was so bad it would cause paralysis. He was the only one who could calm me down so he had a point.

We entered the room. It was quite spacious and it had a big view overlooking the ocean. The beautiful scenery painted a relaxing atmosphere, calming my nerves. I had set my luggage aside and went to the bedroom to confirm that there were 2 beds but unfortunately there was only 1.....

"So, there's only 1 bed. Where are you sleeping? I'll let you choose." -Y/N

"What? Can't we just share the bed like we did bef--" -Nanami

"Shut up. I guess it's settled then. I'll take the couch and you can take the bed." -Y/N

Why is he ok with sharing one bed? That only happened because I was in a bad situation. He's getting more straightforward with his dirty comments now-
