Third person's pov
Hoseok didn't really spend a lot of time at the dance studio. He excused himself as he packed his bag and rushed out of the studio, the moment he received a call from Yoongi.
It's been a long time since the male contacted Hoseok, so definitely the brunette rushed home at the request of his husband--he felt a little giddy.
It was something he felt after months of letting his emotions numb.
People were not wrong. When your emotions get so overwhelming, you'll stop feeling them at some point. And those pills he took didn't help any less--it was a catalyst to his numbing process.
Rushing down the streets, he reached their shared housing, which was open. Entering inside, he was met with a sight, that he longed for so long.
His husband sitting on the black couch leisurely, eyes closed--which opened the moment he heard Hoseok's soft pants in the quiet room.
"Get ready," muttered lazily, closing his eyes back.
"Uh... Why?"
"Dinner at my parents place,"
"Okay," the burnette squeaked and rushed inside their supposed to be shared bedroom.
On the other hand, Yoongi was annoyed. No, annoyed would be an understatement. He didn't really want to spend any time with Hoseok, but his parents kept pestering him day and night about a family dinner.
Once Hoseok left the room, dressed in a better attire, both of them left to Yoongi's car. The silence was so much for Hoseok. He wanted to start small conversations with his husband, but he knew better not to.
Moving a little forward, he was about to switch the radio on--to kill the silence.
"Don't. I'm having an headache," Hoseok could see Yoongi rolling his eyes. So, the younger male retreated his hand, nodding.
Upon reaching the elder's childhood house, both of them hopped off the car. Yoongi softly knocked on the door, soon a lady in her fifties opened the door, a wide smile plastered on her face.
"Hoseokie!" she squealed softly, as she leaned forward, pulling the said male into her embrace.
Yoongi just walked inside, muttering a hey to his dad who was busy setting the plates.
"Hoseok!!" Yoongi's dad smiled as he rushed forward to pull Hoseok into a hug, to which Yoongi scoffed. His parents didn't even bother to greet him.
Both Mr and Mrs Min pulled Hoseok inside and helped him get comfortable. After a few minutes of talking to each other,--which didn't include Yoongi as he walked out, saying he had to attend a call--they decided to have dinner.
The dinner went on smoothly, both Yoongi and Hoseok doing their best to act as a lovely couple in front of their parents--but, in reality both of them were feeling differently.
On one hand, Yoongi was so damn frustrated that he was having a dinner with Hoseok, the person he has come to hate in the past few years. Not only that, but, he had to cancel his date with Jungkook--his boyfriend.
On the other hand, Hoseok was feeling overwhelmed. After the countless number of days he starved himself because he didn't want to eat alone, he is eating today. That too with his husband--the man he was longing to meet in the past eight months of their marriage life.
