Third person's pov
Jungkook could feel his head throbbing in pain, dried tears making him feel itchy all over his face. He hadn't eaten anything since the night he had come to his childhood home. He had cried, a lot. Broke the remains of childhood belongings. He regretted.
He should've broken up with Yoongi the moment he knew the elder was getting married. He should have done that. But he didn't.
He should've let the elder go after his marriage at least, but he didn't.
And when he did, his hyung decided to punish him. Punish him with his silence and Jungkook can never apologize to the elder.
Jungkook had been feeling an overwhelming amount of feelings in the past two days. Guilt, regret, pain, anger, disgust. Everything.
Now, it was his fault that his bestfriend had lost the love of his life. He wanted to follow suit, with his Hoseok hyung. He wanted to let go of everything and go to where his hyung is.
But, he was a coward. He could never do that.
So, here he is, sat on the ground, hugging his knees to his chest as his eyes focused and unfocused onto nothingness. He couldn't cry anymore for there was no more tears left. He could feel a prickling sensation in his chest, very mild yet uneasy.
A loud and urgent knock on the door had pulled him out of his trance he was having inside the unlit room.
"I'm not eating, hyung. Go away," he yelled, his voice hoarse and cracking a little towards the end from all the crying.
But the knocks didn't stop. Another set sounded loud inside.
"I said go away!" tears started making its way down his cheeks as the persistent knock never stopped. Tears he never knew was left in him. He felt more disgust for troubling everyone--now his family included.
"Open the fucking door!" a deep voice groused from the other side of the door and Jungkook could never not recognize it. He knew that voice, so well.
Getting up from the ground, he stumbled towards the door--feeling a surge of pain in his leg from how he had sat for a long while--and opened it, revealing the person who had come for him.
Without a word, Jungkook lunged forward and pulled the elder into a tight hung, letting his tears wet the male's shirt. The latter placed his hands on the crying male's waist, letting him break down.
"It's okay. Just cry," he had whispered softly.

The black haired male had sat himself by the big glass in the café. His face looked pale, paler than his usual complex, eyes sunken as dark circles decorated the underside of it, his lips lost its tint looking chapped.
He looked tired. Looked as if he hadn't been sleeping for the past three days. Which was true. He hadn't had a wink of sleep in the past three days.
He had layed on the bed and looked at the ceiling for most of the night.
Is this how he felt? having to sleep in that house, alone without any warmth.
He had wondered as Jimin's words from that day ringed through his head.
"He loved you, hyung."
The words from Hoseok's diary ringing through his head.
He's been reading Hoseok's diary. Everyday. He had read about many of Hoseok's sleepless nights, about his low appetite, about his medication's side effects, about his love for Yoongi. About Yoongi.
Yoongi read every single line.
Again and again.
To the point where he could recite the lines. And he still couldn't understand what went wrong.
If Hoseok really loved Yoongi, why didn't he come back to him? Did he really think Yoongi was capable of hating him? He did not reciprocate Hoseok's feelings, true. But why did Hoseok never come to him?
Like the past three days, Yoongi decided to start reading Hoseok's diary that morning, but a particular call had him change his plans.
A call saying, "It's about time you knew the truth," and henceforth he's sitting in this café.
Yoongi didn't bother ordering because he didn't feel like eat anything. So he just sat there and waited.
Waited for him to come.
Waited for Kim Seokjin, his school senior to come.
He rapidly tapped the pad of his fingers on the wooden table as his legs bounced without his control. Something he did whenever he was anxious.
Right now he felt anxious because what truth did Jin wanted to reveal to him? Was he really ready to take whatever was thrown at his direction?
The answer was no.
He was not ready to face any truth. Not after what happened to his Hoseok. To him, everything around him felt like a lie.
"Yoongi," Jin's breathy voice had pulled him out of his anxious trance. He looked up to see the elder dressed in a suit, hair parted in the middle--looking a little out of breath.
He's meeting with the elder after so many years. It's been so long. But looking at Jin only reminded him of Hoseok and the one question that's been lingering on his mind.
Why him?
It could've even been Jin. Why did Hoseok fall for Yoongi of all people?
"Take a seat, hyung," Yoongi managed to croak it out, his voice a little too gruff for his own liking. The elder smiled sadly as he sat himself on the opposite chair.
"How are you doing?"
Yoongi didn't know. No one had asked that to him in the past three days because they assumed he was not okay. But, in reality, he doesn't know at all. How was he doing? He wanted to know that, as well.
"Can I be honest with you?" the elder nodded understandingly--as if he knew what Yoongi was going to say. "I don't know, hyung. I don't know,"
"That's okay. I don't know how you feel but I get where you're coming from," he smiled. Yoongi felt his smile to be very comforting.
"What did you want to tell me, hyung?"
"Firstly, I want to apologize for telling you this now. I'm sorry Yoongi, for being a coward. I really am,"
"Hyung. I don't understand. Why are you apologizing?" Yoongi's eyebrows pinched together, creases of confusion forming on his forehead.
"It was because of me you and Hoseok---"
Jin was cut off mid sentence when a slightly shrill voice had called his and Yoongi's name in shock. Peaking his head over Yoongi's shoulder he could see his younger brother standing there. His eyes bloodshot and the rim puffy, his button nose runny and pink, hair a disheveled mess.
"Jungkook?" Yoongi frowned.
