⏸️Play - You broke me first [Madilyn Bailey]

Third person's pov

The pain in his beating heart overweighed the pain he felt all over his body.

Rain drops drowning the sound of sorrows and hiding the painful tears.

Shoes heavy on the pavement, holding those legs on one place.

Crying.

That was all the soulless shell could do.

Mourn.

Mourn over the mistakes.

But, maybe, just maybe, it wasn't his mistake.

But, was it? he wondered as tears painted his cheeks as it wished.

Held by the chest was something--the only thing he treasured at the moment other than the male walking away from him, away from his life. Only comfort in his gloom surrounded life.

Will it hold answers?

No.

It held pain.

He didn't know.

He didn't think what they had would dissipate into thin air like nothing.

Yoongi laid on the soft embrace of the mattress in his and his boyfriend's shared apartment bedroom, his fond eyes now gazing lovingly on the sleeping male next to him.

Jeon Jeongguk, the definition of perfection. At least, that's what Yoongi thought. He's been dating this boy for around a year and a half almost.

He at some point thought he should let his parents know about Jungkook and stop the marriage that was about to happen. But he didn't have the heart to do that to Mrs Jung who was on her death bed.

As much as he hated Jung Hoseok, that lady was another mother to him. Honestly, he'd favor her more than his own birth mother. And the two family necessarily didn't have to know about the changes took place in the two best friends' relationship around six years ago.

He was pulled out of his thoughts as the brunette male next to him shifted closer to his naked upper body and buried his face right on the elder's chest--happily.

Yoongi sighed.

He knew he didn't love Jungkook. And Jungkook didn't as well. But he hopes to spend the rest of his life with Jungkook.

Maybe the flowers were going to bloom soon. At least, that's what he anticipated because Yoongi didn't really know how love felt like.

Of course his parents loved him. But, he's never been really exposed to the actual love. The love that many in reality dreaded. He didn't though, because he knew Jungkook would reciprocate it. He knew so.

Feeling giddy, he shook Jungkook slowly.

"Wake up, peanut," he rasped out a chuckle. Yoongi didn't understand why his boyfriend was so fond of that nickname.
