⏸Play - Too sad to cry [Sasha sloan]

Third person's pov

Hoseok was happy. Really really happy.

At least, that's how he actually felt.

In a long while.

Life for most of the part was still same. His mom was still sick, he was still trying to pay the debts because of his dad, he was still managing around four part time jobs in the weekdays and 3 in the weekends, he was still doing his best to keep his scholarship for the college. It was all the same.

"Hey love," Hoseok looked up from where he was moping the floor--in the cafe he works at every weekend--and saw a tall blonde haired male waving at him, with a huge smile plastered on his slightly plump lips.

"Min-Minjae," Hoseok blushed and waved back. It was about time for the brunette's shift to get over, and he didn't expect his boyfriend to come over to the cafe.

He quickly completed his works, changed, bid his bye(s) to all of his fellow workers and rushed to where his boyfriend was seated.

"Lets go," he mumbled shyly. It's been around five months the two started dating and Hoseok was still very shy.

Hoseok was deep in thoughts as they walked towards the blonde's dorms. Because, for one, his boyfriend never visits him during his part times ("don't want to distract you," he had reasoned) and for second, they never go to his dorms. It's always somewhere private or Hoseok's house, not the dorms ("my roommate doesn't like it," he had reasoned, again).

"Earth to Seok," he waved in front of Hoseok, still smiling bright.

Hoseok has always liked the male's smile, it was pretty, but that for most of the part wasn't directed towards him. The guy rarely smiled with him and that had Hoseok feeling bad for many days.

He was scared that he was making his own boyfriend uncomfortable.

Hoseok was insecure about many things. Years of being picked up on had done it's job on bringing his self esteem down.

People might think he was bullied because his family had gone bankrupt a year or two ago. But it wasn't. Hoseok was soft spoken, always doing his best, kind and nicer. In simple words, he was easy to harass. His family going through money crisis was just an added advantage.

Though Hoseok would never complain or tattle tale about his bullies, his family being broke was a relief for the bunch of brainless kids. Even if he complained, it was of no use because his parents can't do shit. Not anymore.

To them he was weak.

"Hoseokiee!! What's wrong? You keep zoning out," his boyfriend's soft whine pulled him out of his train of thoughts. Now that he notices, they were already at the dorm entrance.

"I'm sorry," he smiled sheepishly. "I was just wondering why we are here," he motioned his hands to the dorm buildings.

"Don't tell me you--you forgot," the latter frowned pouting, and Hoseok could see hues of pink spreading on his cheeks and ears.

"Forgot? What?"

"Hoseok..," he whined, embarrassed. "We--We decided on.. uh--" Minjae hid his face behind his palm, "--taking the next step in our relationship!!" though the words were muffled, Hoseok heard it clearly.
