I can't believe I'm actually doing this. I think to myself while holding the King's cheek. He's just been staring at me, a baffled expression on his face, then it morphs into something else.

Slowly, I try to remove my hand from his face. The King shifts one of his hands out from under me and rests it on my hand, the one holding his cheek. King Boo closes his eyes and nuzzles his cheek into my hand. A slight blush crosses his face as he turns his face and gently places a kiss on my palm.

I feel my own face start to heat up as he pulls away and looks at me. My hand lingers on his cheek before I put it back down on his chest.

"Thank you, my dear. You've helped me see clearly." He whispers, placing a small kiss on my forehead. "We're almost at Haunted Towers, just a little further." We start to move through the sky again, the King's face is full of certainty.

I nod as I feel Snare take one of his vines and flicks my ear. You're staring, Y/N. He practically says.

Shut it, Snare. I turn my head away from the King's face crane my neck to try and see the Haunted Towers. "What was the Haunted Towers before the witches came and blessed Evershade Valley?" I ask.

"It used to be a Botanical Laboratory and Hotel for Herbologists." The King grins, looking down at me.

My eyes widen as I snap my head back to face the King. "A Botanical Laboratory?" I feel a smile grow on my face. "Are most of the plants still there?"

"Why don't you see for yourself, my dear." The King's grin grows into a smile as we descend. "We will be landing very shortly."

"Alright!" My cheeks are sore from how much I am smiling. The King's eyes never leave mine as we touch down.

King Boo gestures for me to look behind me and I turn around, gasping at the sight. In front of me are two twin towers, both about six stories. The Haunted Towers are surrounded by a brick fence and an iron gate with vines and ivy spilling over top. The front yard of the Haunted Towers is just one giant garden filled with plants that I have never seen before, all of them in big beautiful and healthy bushes. I should ask about those later. What really gets me, is the giant oak tree in between the Towers.

Standing tall, the oak tree towers over the Hotel. I have to crane my neck to see the entire tree in all it's glory, and even then, I can't see it entirely unless I move back a couple hundred feet. The trunk and branches, from what I can see, are a healthy dark brown. The giant, dark green leaves are illuminated by a light coming from the middle of the tree.

"It's much better when you get closer." The King whispers in my ear, startling me.

I jump as he stands beside me and puts his hand on the small of my back. I turn my head to look at King Boo and see that he has the biggest, mischievous grin on his face. You definitely wouldn't have pulled that and the flipping flying thing when we first met. Getting comfortable with me are we, Your Majesty? "I've said it once, I'll say it again: You're enjoying this way too much." I laugh.

King Boo laughs along with me as he guides me forward. "Am I really?" He raises his brow with a smirk. "There's nothing wrong with a little mischief, darling." He says with a sideways smirk.

I give him a light jab with my elbow. "I guess I can't argue with that logic." I snicker. Feeling bold, I move closer to the King until my shoulder is touching his ribs. King Boo stiffens slightly but relaxes and moves his hand from my back to my hip, closing the rest of the gap between us.

I sigh happily as I close my eyes, turn my face to the light breeze, and let the King guide me to our destination. We walk in perfect silence and I focus on feeling vibrations in the ground so I don't trip over anything. But the little crevices and stones aren't the only things that I can feel.
