Kiss Me

Chapter 6

Unfortunately, it didn't go well. Aaron was literally preventing Mark from walking near me. And, in the end, when Mark gave up and just walked in front of us, Aaron was staring at the back of Mark's head with so much ferocity, that i thought he was going to burn holes in Mark's head.

So...yeah, it didn't go so well. The next day, everything was fine untill P.E. Ashley, Anna, Sara and i had P.E with the boys today, only to find out that Mark ALSO has P.E 7th hour. Whoopee.

When all of us girls got out of the locker room, we got into our lines for roll call, and the guys came in. After roll call, i went up to the teacher and asked her "so...are we running or stretching?" Please please say running!!! I silently pleaded to her. "Hmmm, yeah, we'll run for 4 minutes." Mrs. Noland said "YES!!!!" I exclaimed, and literally everyone that heard me, which was all of the girls, and some guys, turned to look at me. Oops. I thought sheepishly. Then, we started jogging around the gym, and the guys did the same.

I was so focused on my running, that i didn't realize that Aaron  was running alongside me. He kept on saying my name over and over again untill i actually heard it, and said "what?" He laughed and gave me a funny look. "What?" I said again, and he laughed and said "nothing". "Uggg" i said, and ran faster untill i was father ahead of him, and in front of everybody else. "Whoa! Slow down!!!" Aaron  called after me, but i shut him out, and ran faster and faster. My lungs were burning, and my brain was telling me to slow down, but my legs were like a machine, and kept on pumping me ahead.

Suddenly, Aaron was ahead of me, and was laughing out loud at my bewildered expression. "Fine then" i huffed under my breath, and ran faster till i matched his pace. He looked at me with a teasing look, but before he could say anything, i lurched ahead of him, and as i looked back, he was looking at me with a shocked expression. I just laughed and kept on running.

P.E was okay after that, other than Aaron, once again, not letting Mark anywhere NEAR me. But, everything went wrong when we were ready to go down to the locker rooms to change. I was with my friends and we were laughing at how badly i kicked the kickball, and then as we were crossing the gym floor to the locker rooms, Mark comes over to me, and says that he likes me a lot, then the unbelievable happened. He kissed me. And i didn't expect it at all. Worser yet, Aaron saw, and came running over and punched Mark. Hard, on the jaw.

Everything was a blur after that. I was dragged down to the locker room, and i changed without really processing what i was doing, then i went to homeroom, and finally snapped out of it, when Aaron came over to me asking if i was okay. "Why aren't u in the office or something?" I asked automatically. "They gave me a passing period to get my stuff." He repiled. "Oh" was all that i said. I still was processing what happened in my mind, because i was so shocked. "Are you going to be okay?" Aaron  asked me. "Wha- oh, yeah." I said, without thinking. "Okay" Aaron  said hesitantly. "Just go Aaron , she'll be fine, you need to go before you're late" Ashley said reassuringly to Aaron. Then, finally with one more look at me, Aaron left. " i can't BELEIVE that Mark would do that!" Ashley said in an angry voice. "What do you mean?" I asked after i had fully registered what she said. "Seriously seqouia? Its obvious that Aaron has a major crush on you, and that he would protect you no matter what. And so does Mark." Oh my god i thought, 2 guys? Fighting over ME? Ugggg. How am i EVER going to survive the rest of the year?
