It was monday, and it was still kinda sticky between Evan and I. I felt bad for yelling at him, but something snapped, and usually people don't want to be around when i snap.

"Heyyyyyyyy gurl!!" Mitch yelled enthusiastically when i sat down at the lunch table. Cassie was also there, and she asked Mitch to give us some privacy for a moment. "Sure sure!" Mitch said, skipping away to another table. "So, Evan told me what happened. I'm so sorry Seqouia." Cassie said quietly, draping her arm over my shoulders. "Yeah. I shouldn't have snapped at him though." "I know. You should apologize. And tell him everything. Only then will he understand." Cassie said softly, her eyes an ocean blue and twinkling, but holding comfort and concern. "No no no no. I can't tell him. I don't want to. I'll apologize, but i don't want to tell him. Not yet." I whispered as Evan walked past, locking eyes with mine, his choclate brown eyes dull and sad.

I was taken aback at how his eyes revealed everything, and showed so much despair. Just like Aaron... I thought somberly. "Sequoia! How hard can it be?!?" Cassie exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air. "You don't understand Cassie." I replied. Cassie took a deep breath and sighed noisily, expressing her exasperation.

"Fine. But you still have to apologize missy." Cassie said, smiling, her eyes crinkling at the edges and so small that when she takes off her glasses and smiles, all you see is slits of her eyes. "I know i know. Lets eat." I said. "Uhh...did my class leave? Because it's past the time when my class leaves lunch..." Cassie said, squinting at the clock. "No dummy, it's the extended schedule. Duh!" I said, laughing. "Ohhhhhh!!! Riiiiiiiggggghhhhhhttttt. Pshh, I'm such a blonde!" "No kidding." It's so weird though, Cassie and i look like twins eventhough i have more tanner skin than her, and her hair is a wavy strawberry blonde, while mine is a curly strawberry blonde. We both have black glasses and blue eyes, except my glasses have blue on them. We got our lunch and spent the rest of the hour laughing and throwing food at eachother.

In photography class, we were picking out our best pictures and making prezis about them, but i had finished mine over the weekend. What can i say? I grab the opportunity to finish something when i have the time. I noticed that Evan wasn't doing anything and i walked over to him. "Hey." "Hi" Evan replied, not looking at me.
"Listen, I'm sorry. I was just having a bad day, and-" "Bad day? Really? You couldn't stop laughing at the fact that i fell on my ass, climbing your tree." Evan snapped. "I'm sorry Evan. I just-" i sighed. "Evan...i had a lot going on, and what you said kinda hit a soft spot, and i snapped. I would tell you now about how your words affected me, and why they did, but i just want some time to think over what I'm going to say. Okay?" I explained.

Evan looked up at me and we locked gazes foe what seemed like an eternity untill Evan finally broke the silence. "Okay. I forgive you. Promise you'll explain everything to me?" Evan asked. "I promise." I said confidently, while Evan took my pinky and did a pinky swear. I pulled my hand away, but Evan stopped me. "Wait. In order for this promise to never be broken, you have kiss your hand. Like this." Evan said while pressing his lips to his balled up fist, his pinky still wrapped around mine. "Okay..." I said, while doing what he showed me. "Now it's offical." Evan said with a brilliant smile on his pale-ish face.

Later in class, we had 20 more minutes left, so our teacher decided to do something fun that involved music and karaoke. "Okay, so, who would like to volunteer to come up here and sing a song karaoke?" Our teacher asked. Nobody put thier hands up. Oh well, might as well try. I thought to myself while raising my hand.

"Ahh!! Miss March! What would you like to sing?" The teacher asked. "Be My Forever by Christna Perry feat Ed Sheeran." I whispered into her ear. She nodded then went to her computer to play it. "So, if any of you know this song, please feel free to sing along." I said, smiling. But of course, no one knew this song. Only Evan and I.

When the song started playing, Evan immediately perked up. Then, i started singing along. "We're on top of the world, we're on top of the world now darling so don't let go. Can i call you mine?" Then, when the guy part mixed in with the girl part, Evan jumped right in, and we sang the whole song together, matching every pitch correctly and blending beautifully.

When the song ended, everyone was gaping at us and holding up thier phones, filming us. They immediately started recording when i said i would sing. It seems like ever since the freshman talent show, i was elected and known as the best singer ever. Which was pretty cool.

That night, i slept undisturbed and with "Be My Forever" stuck in my head.
