Kiss Me

Chapter 31

It was Saturday, and it was raining. So, i took advantage of the rain and got together with Cassie and CeCe, our new member of our group. She had brown hair that she dyed red, and went down to her shoulders. She was medium heught, a few inches shorter than me, and had a chubby face. CeCe wore black glasses that brought out her amber eyes, and she had a cute little nose that nade her look so adorable. CeCe was like me, who had a bubbly and estatic personality, but unlike me, she was an open book. You could tell how she was feeling very clearly.

CeCe, Cassie and i went to a local cafe that was about 10 minutes away from my house. I drove, as always, because i was the only one who had a driver's license. I was the oldest out of the three of us, i was 17, CeCe was 16, and Cassie was also 16, but a few months younger than CeCe. They woukd get thier driver's licenses next year. Whoopee, more driving people around.

When we got to the cafe, we ordered three wildberry smoothies and sat down in the corner by the window. "So, you know how my birthday was a couple days ago, well, Will came up behind me and..." I tuned out CeCe's and Cassie's conversation as i looked out the window, sipping my smoothie and watching  the rain fall.

A silver mustang pulled into the parking lot across from me and shut off. I ignored it and looked down at my book, Reason To Breathe by Rebecca Donovan and started reading it. I had gotten a few pages into the book when i heard someone slide into the booth across from me. CeCe and Cassie has stopped talking and was staring at whoever was sitting in front of me. "Well well well. Isn't it the beach klutz." I heard a familiar voice say.

I looked up and gasped in shock. "Julian! What are you doing here?" I exclaimed. "Oh, i just happened to see you, so i decided to say hello." Julian said, sipping his wildberry smoothie. "Okay..." i said. "So, what's up beach klutz?" He asked. I felt my face prickle in annoyance of that name. "Would you please not call me that? And as i recall, it wadMs YOU who ran into ME." I replied, glaring at Julian. His eyes twinkled and his lips spread into a mischievous grin. "But you ARE the beach klutz! Aren't you?" He teased. "Would you please not call me that!!!???" I exclaimed.

"Hmmm...nope" Julian stated, grinning madly. "Hmph" i replied. "Not much of a talker huh?" Julian asked Cassie. "Actually, she is, she will literally blabber on for HOURS." "HEY!!" I exclaimed, reaching over to bat at Cassie's arm.  Cassie laughed as i kept batting her arm.
"OK -OK!! I- I surrender!!!" Cassie yelled between fits of laughter. "Good." I smugly replied.

"So, she can be an animal huh?"  I whipped my head back at Julian. "What. Did you just call me?" I growled through gritted teeth. "Oohhh!!! Looks like i pissed off the beast!!!" Julian teased. "Come here you!!!" I said, vemon laced in my words, as i reached to whack Julian's bare arm. SMACK, "OW!!!" Julian yelled. "I'm gonna smack you!" Julian warned. "Go on. Do it." I replied, glaring at him. "Nah, i don't do animal abuse." Julian said, looking at me smugly. I raised my hand to get ready to whack his head. "JUST KIDDING!! JUST KIDDING! Don't hurt me beast!!!" Julian held his arms up to cover his face. I put my hand down and looked back out the window.

"So, Beach Klutz, what'cha readin'?" Julian asked. "Uggggg" i groaned. Julian laughed at that, his voice filling the cafe.

30 agonizingly long minutes later, the three of us girls decided to leave the cafe. As we were getting our stuff together, Julian grabbed my arm and pulled me away. "Hey! Whatare you doing?!?!?" I exclaimed. "Shhh. I was wondering, can i get your number?" Julian asked me, pulling out his phone. "Uhhh...no." i answered. "Please Sequoia! It would be nice to have someone new to talk to, ya know?" Julian pleaded. "Uggg. Fiiiinnnneeee." I gave in, and typed my phone number into his contacts list. He did the same with mine.

"Thanks Sequoia." Julian said, while putting his phone back in his pocket. Then, he and i went to the door and he held it open for me. I forgot that there was a big drop onto the next step and i stumbled as i stepped down. "Ha ha ha. See what i mean? Mabye you should be called Town Klutz. What do ya think? Sound good?" Julian joked with a wide grin. "I'm gonna get you Julian..." "Matthews" Julian said. "Ok, I'm going to get you, Julian Matthews!!!" I exclaimed, giving him a few whacks on the head before i ran to the safety of my car. My phone buzzed, and i looked down to read the text.

Bye Town Klutz!!!
Oh shut up!!!

I replied, annoyance pickling my face. "Girl. Julian DIGS you!!! He has like, a HUGE crush on you!!!" CeCe exclaimed. "What?  No he doesn't!!!" I replied, alarmed. "Ah, she wasn't paying attention." Cassie said knowingly. "I was more focused on how ANNOYING Julian is." I replied.

Later that night, Cassie had Will come over, and CeCe and i went down to get Cocoa Cola drinks as Cassie and Will stayed in my bedroom. "So, Marco and i are together now." CeCe announced to me. Marco was another new member of our group, and Marco and CeCe have liked each other since FOREVER. "Really? That's great!!!" I replied, walking up my steep stairs. I got to my room and was about to announce the good news when i saw Cassie fast asleep in Will's arms. Will had his head resting on the top of her head, and kissed her before passing out himself. It was so adorable.

CeCe and i had fallen asleep, curled up against eachother halfway through the movie, Now Is Good. Once again, my dreams were filled with green eyes and dark brown hair.
