The tension between Aaron and Mark started to blow over after a few weeks, and soon, they were buddies. I was suprised but releived at the same time. I guess that Aaron had shown Mark not to fool with me, and well, it helped.
Everything was finally going back to normal, and i was given the peace to focus on my work and school as the year was flying by. There was the usual drama everyday, like who asked out who, who dumped who, who fought who, ya know, the usual gossip. Well, today, was the climax of the gossip.
I was at my locker with Aaron, Ashley, Anna, Sara, Adoora, and Anyla, and we were talking about how much the sub in science hated us, and how she made all of us not talk for the whole hour! We didn't even do anything!!! Then Mark walks to his locker next to mine and faces me. He takes a deep breath and says "Seqouia, i like you a lot, and i don't think that i can hold it in any longer. Will you go out with me?"
