It was summer break. School got out two weeks ago, and Evan kept his promise of Snapchatting me every day, and calling me every once in a while. We would always end our conversations with a silence, but in that silence, everything was said. I always got teary after we ended the conversation. I missed Evan so, so much.

I still would see short visions of Aaron, but he would look happy. I no longer felt the pain anymore, and enjoyed my short visions of him.

"Heyyyyyyyy gurl!!!" Mitch greeted me, like he usually did, and hugged me. I saw Nick, Cassie and Will too. We were all at the beach and was going to camp out there also. We decided to bring lanterns to let go into the sky at night also. It was going to be amazing.

I was walking along the beach, enjoying the salty air when i heard footsteps behind me. Just as i turned around, somebody crashed into me and sent us flying onto the sand. "Hey! Watch where you're going!!!" A deep voice growled, as i was getting up and wiping the sand from my body. When i looked back, i noticed that it was a guy who had run into me. He got up and glared at me, his eyes a startling green. He was wearing only swimming tunks that were blue and hung down on his waist, and had a light tan that accentuated his green eyes and dark brown hair.

I ran my eyes along his tanned body that showed off his toned muscles. Finally, i brought my eyes up to his face, immediately noticing his sharp jawline and cheekbones that jutted out fron his cheeks. His hair was shaggy and was caked with wet sand, that he shook off while wiping the sand from his torso. As i met his eyes, they were a startling emerald green that glowed from the setting sun, and he had full lips that parted ever so slightly and white, straight teeth. I wanted to kiss those full lips so badly.

He chuckled, and i jumped, snapping out of my daze. "Well hello, it's nice to meet you too." The strange guy said, with a silly grin planted on his face. I immediately blushed, my cheeks turning pink. Damn it Sequoia! Why do you always have to screw up?!??! I scolded myself. "Hey, I'm sorry. I was running to catch the frisbee and i kinda ran into you." The guy apologized, his gaze locking with mine. "I'm Julian. What's your name?" He asked.

"Me? Oh, I- I'm Sequoia." I stuttered. "Well, Seqouia, i better be getting back to my gang. They're gonna club me for taking so long." Julian chuckled, looking back. "But the extended time was worth it." Julian said with a warm smile. "See you around?" Julian asked, taking a few steps back. "Uhhh, yeah. I guess." I said, a nervous laugh escaping my mouth. "Alright. Bye...Sequoia." "Bye." I replied, watching him jog back, his strong arms pumping and legs digging into the sand.

"Oooohhhh!!! Who was that?' Cassie asked, wiggling her eyebrows. "Oh....nobody. Just a guy i ran into." I said, looking off into the distance, a small smile playing on my lips. "Okay..." Cassie said doubtfully.

Later on that night, the five of us ate smores and shared scary and hilarious stories. At around midnight, we all lit the lanterns and let them loose, latting them float up into the sky. I stood on the beach, feeling the water lapping at my feet and hearing the waves crash against the sand. It was magical, just like Tangled, the Disney movie about Rapunzel.

I had finally had fallen asleep at three in the norning, dreaming of lanterns and green eyed boys.
