Evelyn finished Mary's song over by the grand piano sitting on the stage. It was time for her last song. She began to play some chords, "Before I get into it," she started, "I would like to thank the band." The crowd cheered, "They have learned so many songs over the last few weeks, they're absolutely incredible," The crowd erupted in applause. The band had left the stage, and Evelyn now sat alone at the piano. It was her and the music,

"Like I was saying," she said, "This song is brand new." She paused to play a run on the keys, "As a lot of you know, I normally don't play with a backing track," she said, "but I was not about to make the band learn this in a night." She laughed as the crowd cheered even louder. She smiled at their response, keeping a close eye on the pearly white keys in front of her, "I had some really close friends of mine help me with this song." She paused for a moment, contemplating if she wanted to address them. "and I'd like to thank them," She continued to play, "LA, please, give it up for Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jonah Marais, and Zach Herron," The crowd screamed. Evelyn could only imagine the look on Jack's face.

"This LA," she played into the piano, "is Last Kiss."

The guitar introduction played, and Evelyn struck the chords on the piano. She felt both excited and nervous like she was going to throw up.

I still remember the look on your face

lit through the darkness at 1:58

the words that you whispered

for just us to know

you told me you loved me

so why did you go away

away

she smiled, thinking about the times she had with the boys, writing the song.

I do recall now the smell of the rain

fresh on the pavement

I ran off the plane

the July ninth

the beat of your heart

jumps through your shirt

I can still feel your arms

Evelyn hoped that Jack would remember some of these details. She wanted him to know that she cared for him, and that she loved him.

But now I'll go sit on the floor

wearing you clothes

All that I know is

I don't know how to be something you miss

I never thought we'd have our last kiss

Never Imagine we'd end like this

your name, forever the name on my lips

She played a brief interlude, listening to the way the crowd screamed.
