P3 Composition 1

Dark clouds gathered in the afternoon sky.Nick could hear rumble of thunder.After some time,rain pelted down from the grey sky.Nick started to run towards the shelter.Just then,a loud thunderclap startled him.
By the time Nick reached the shelter,he was drenched to the skin.After awhile,he coughed so hard that his throat felt like burning.He felt weak on the way home,he was pale and wan.By the time he reached home,he was too exhausted to move.When his mother saw the state he was in,she quickly helped him change into dry clothes.
After that,she touched his forehead.It was burning.She quickly brought him to the clinic.The clinic was crowded.He had to wait for a long time for his turn.His condition worsened.His mouth felt dry like sawdust.The doctor gave him a check-up and prescribed him antibiotics.After drinking the antibiotics for a few days,he recovered.
Nick learned his lesson from that day onwards.He dared not walk in the rain without an umbrella.
