P4 SA2 Composition practice

"Ring...!"the recess bell rang shrilly as all the students lined up in two straight rows waiting for instructions to proceed to the canteen.Jack met up with his friends at the corridor outside their class to play soccer as agreed.They started to pass the ball among themselves,they got bored after awhile."Let's play a soccer match,you will be the goalkeeper Jake,"suggested Jack."Alright!"Agreed Jake.
They played to their hearts content and forgot that there was an aquarium nearby.Jack kicked the ball too hard and it went flying in all directions.They heard a loud crashing noise not long after the ball was out of sight.They followed the direction of the noise and saw that water was flowing out of the aquarium from a big crack.
Alarmed,they bolted for the stairs.Just then,a teacher passed by,"Stop!I heard a loud crashing sound awhile ago,can you explain what is going on,"demanded Mr Lim."Um...er...we heard the loud sound too..."Jake stuttered"And was about to head there too,"John finished Jake's sentence nervously while fidgeting."Is that so?"Inquired Mr Lim."Ye...yes,"answered Jack weakly."Wait for me here while I check what's going on,"instructed Mr Lim.Mr Lim walked towards the aquarium,"What is this?The fishes are all dead!"
The boys were afraid of the punishment they would get so they tried to flee while Mr Lim was not watching.Mr Lim took off in hot pursuit when he noticed the boys running away,he caught the boys in the end."Why were you running away?"Questioned Mr Lim."We...we thought that ...you might punish us..."stammered John."Were you the ones who broke the glass pannel?"Asked Mr Lim suspiciously."Yes...I mean no!No,we did not..."Jack was at a loss for words."Yes we were the ones who broke the glass pannel.We are very sorry,please forgive us,"confessed Jake."I'm glad that you are truthful but nonetheless you still have to stay back for detention."The boys learned their lesson and promised to never tell lies ever again.
