Jungkook knew that he should've accepted the guide that had offered to come with him because now he was lost. He knew that he was near the northern province because there was an abandoned sign that said "North is forward", but after going forward, he found himself facing snowy mountains on all sides.

"This map is useless," Jungkook grumbled as he threw it away. Something was super wrong as he realized that none of the maps that he had seen showed any mountainous terrain. Infact, there wasn't even supposed to be a range of mountains in this kingdom.

Maybe the maps were outdated because people rarely travel to the northern province but that cant be the case since it is mandatory to oversee every part of the kingdom.

Jungkook tied his horse down and sat down before taking a sip of water. He had been on the road for the past 8 hours and he was not exactly tired but still tired. The last time he was able to make contact with the village was about an hour ago and apparently they had succeeded in conquering the southern province. There weren't many people guarding the place and the officials there were wusses so it was easy. Only 6-7 people died from the bts's side and the members themselves only had a couple of scratches and cuts.

Jungkook looked ahead and saw a narrow path in between the mountains. He got back on his horse's back after giving it some water and started again. The temperature was dropping rapidly and Jungkook began to shiver but couldn't do anything as he didn't bring a sweater because there were supposed to warm green grassfields.

His horse trudged through the snow that was starting to pile on the ground. Jungkook saw some lights in the distance and his eyes lit up. He found a cave and tied his horse there and left after leaving some food and water for it. Jungkook walked towards it. When he was closer to the lights he was a decent number of huts and some guards standing with sharp knives in their hands. Jungkook ducked behind a pile of snow and observed more. He saw the main quarters. There were about another ten guards surrounding the perimeter that was visible to him.

He wondered how he was going to carry out the mission especially since there were quite a few villagers especially children out and playing. None of the villagers can get hurt.

Jungkook saw a soldier walk from the path that he had come from. An idea came to him and he killed the guard. Jungkook quickly wore the man's clothes before hiding the body and walking towards the main palace.

"Hol' up, lad," One of the soldiers near the gates of the main palace told. Jungkook immediately froze but his eyes showed no fear. He saw a name tag near the end of his (Jungkook's) cape.

"What's your name?"

"Gretchal Song," Jungkook told with his teeth gritted. What an embarrassing name to have! The guard snickered as he let Jungkook inside. It was quite a simple palace. The main part of the palace was a bit more grander. The officials quarters expanded in a line from his left and right side. It was just a normal palace.

Couple of guards walked across the courtyard of the place. Suddenly the gates burst open and a soldier came running inside.

"Gretchal Song, our commander in chief has been murdered, there is an invader," A soldier screamed. Shit, did I have to kill the commander-in-chief, Jungkook swore under his breath. He quickly tore the name tag and threw it somewhere when no one was lookin g at him.

"I don't think I have seen him anywhere, capture him," A soldier, Jae-sik commanded as he pointed at Jungkook.

"Shit," Jungkook swore under his breath as he unbuckled the cape and brandished his sword. Swords clashed as the first soldier came at him. Jungkook quickly knocked the man's knees before severing his head.

"Tell me where this province's head is and I will consider not to kill you," but none of the soldier's backed away and more poured in. Jungkook was surrounded. He had no idea where all these soldiers were coming from.

"Ok, don't tell I didn't warn ya," Jungkook told in a grave. He raised his hand before punching his fist through the ground. The ground cracked and a silent moan was heard from the distance. A crack and hiss followed but nothing else happened. Jungkook smirked as he saw the alerted faces in front of him.

"Its a good thing that you are living so close to mountains that have a whole lot of snow," Jungkook commented.

"Avalanche!!! It is going to destroy our granary," one of the soldiers freaked out.

"Leave that, we have plenty more. Kill the invader," the commander yelled and Jungkook's smirk fell. He stabbed the first five soldiers that came at him and severed the head of the others. He couldn't use much of his magic here because the place was just too small. He could've sent the avalanche where he was but it would harm the villagers also.

Jungkook killed another twenty more men. He could feel his energy drain out, summoning that avalanche itself caused a lot of damage. He yelped as a knife cut through the cloth over his arm and another above his stomach.

Something struck his thigh. It was a tranquilizer dart. Jungkook threw it away before cutting one of the soldier's hand off. He could feel his desperation and anger slowly take over though he was exhausted.

"Stop," Jungkook screamed. Snow became sharp icicles and pierced almost every soldier's heart. Only ten stood while the others dropped down dead.

"Now bring that bastard who you have been protecting out," Jungkook snarled, his once black eyes were red. One of the soldiers immediately brought a man wearing a grand hanbok out.

"Do whatever you have to do but I am control everything here from now on. Any of you disobey me, I wont hesitate to kill you but if you obey, then you will be rewarded," Jungkook told in an assertive told, addressing every official especially the head of the province. He stood with his sword hanging from his belt, blood slowly dripped from it. His slightly long hair was tied into half a pony tail, strands of jet black hair danced infront of his forehead. His black hanbok with a belt that outlined his waist added onto his imposing look. His glaring red eyes intimidated the crowd.

"Any objection," Jungkook asked in the same tone.

"I object," one of the officials screamed from the crowd. He drew his sword and charged at Jungkook. The other male just shook his hand and three dead bodies dropped on the official, one of the icicles piercing his leg.

"Any more," Jungkook asked, ignoring the man who was screaming in pain. Everyone just shook there heads and bowed down. An act of submission which means that Jungkook had succeeded.

"Now announce this to the subjects and clean the place up," Jungkook told before going to the main palace. To the throne. Where he was supposed to be.

I'll contact the village tomorrow and ask them to bring someone to overlook this place so we can move onto phase 2, Jungkook thought. He wanted to treat his wounds first but there is something more important that he should see into. The reason why the mountains weren't mentioned on the map.

(the tranquilizer dart didn't affect Jungkook that much because he is almost immune to it.)
