Epilogue

1 year later

Namjoon stood near the railings of the balcony, looking out into the horizon.  He was clad in a plain white t-shirt and loose pants, the golden crown studded with rubies oddly added onto the simplicity of the outfit. Lot of things have transpired since the war had come to an end. Taehyung was now the magistrate of the northern province since Hae-sik abdicated his position to take care of his own little village. Yoongi took over the southern province, Hoseok for the western province and Jin for the eastern province. Jimin became the commander of the armies and stayed with Namjoon in the capital.

Things were looking up, the people loved him, the economy was doing good. Crime rates were low and they had managed to establish trades with other kingdoms. Namjoon, mentally, was doing well and so were the others.

"Jungkook, come here," Namjoon called out and his 6-month old blood-hound pup jumped on his bed, chewing the pillows the minute he saw it, 4 months ago, Namjoon had brought in a stray pure blood-hound that was roaming the north province with a hurt leg. He named it 'Jungkook' because it reminded him of his dead lover. It had an intimidating look but was a ball of joy. Jungkook was extremely active and looved to run around in the imperial garden, chasing butterflies and eating flowers, sometimes the grass. That reminded him of Jungkook's weird eating habits. But at the same time, his blood hound was a hard core hunter whose aim was straight and true. He would lead the royal hunts and immediately go in for the kill. It was kind of amazing as his pup was only six-months old.

"Sir, your friends are here," his personal attendee told and, he and Jungkook went out. His pup immediately ran to Yoongi and jumped on him.

"I'm telling you Namjoon, my bunny is more like Jungkook," Jin told as he released his angry bunny from the cage. Jin also had named his 6-month old bunny 'Jungkook' after his dead lover too.

"I don't think it matters whose pet is more like Jungkook," Jimin interjected as he pointed at the pup which was sniffing the bunny's tail.

"Shorty is right," Yoongi told.

"Anyways, the reason why we came here was to catch up with old friends," Hoseok told.

"Ah right, Hoseok as become a friend magnet so he has new friends and forgetting about his old ones," Taehyung told bitterly as he removed his thick coat.

"I don't think you can complain when you are having a better life than all of us. Frolicking about nature and talking to critters with flower tiara," Hoseok retaliated.

"How much ever I love to continue this little debate of ours but we have to start our reunion," Namjoon told. They spent the rest of the evening eating, partying, catching up and then ending up in their own rooms drunk but happy.

Ok it's over. Epilogue could've been better but I had writer's block so yeah. Might edit it later so keep this book in your library.
