Cheating

Meredith POV

After my amazing birthday was over, I went back to my house. Of course my mother wasn't home but it was okay. I went upstairs and got ready for bed, then watched a movie. I fell asleep soon after, dreaming of my future with Derek Shepherd. The guy I hope to marry one day.

I woke up and felt a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. Like something bad is going to happen, just like when the Thatcher drama happened. I told myself to ignore the feeling. I got up and dressed into my running clothes, grabbed my iPod and headphones. Today is a day for a run.went downstairs to find a note from my mother.

Sorry Meredith that I missed your 16th birthday. But I did get you a present. The keys are hanging up and it's parked in the driveway.

She cares? I couldn't help but smile at the feeling. I walked outside and there was a green jeep. It wasn't much but it was perfect for me. I took off running down the streets of Seattle. It was only 7:00 am and the perfect time to run. It's so peaceful. I ran and ran until it started raining so I ran back to my house.

I went inside and took a shower, changed, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, and put my shoes on then ran downstairs. I picked a pair of black jean shorts and a dark green shirt with a pair of white converse.

I walked over to Derek's house. Someone has to be up by now. It's 9:00. I walked in, using the key underneath the flower pot. Carolyn, Chris and Amy were sitting in the kitchen.

"Hello." I said as I walked in.

"Hi Meredith. I thought you were upstairs." Said Amy.

"Um no? Why would you think that?"

"Well Derek was talking to a girl up there I thought."

"Um you might need to get your hearing checked. I'm going upstairs."

I walked upstairs and the uneasy feeling came over me. I opened his bedroom door. I was horrified by the sight. Addison my former bully and the apparent love of my life were going at it like wild animals. Tears ran down my face.

"Wow. You snooped this low? Really?" I screamed and stormed out. I ran down the stairs and as fast as I could out the Shepherds front door. I heard Chris, Carolyn, and Amy asking me something but I didn't hear them.

Chris POV

I heard Meredith yelling from upstairs. "Wow you snooped this low? Really?!"

My heart stopped for a slip second. Derek cheated on my newest little girl? I saw as she ran out of the house, fast with tears streaming down her face. Me, Carolyn, and Amy yelled for her to come back but we lost her.

"I have to go and find her." I said and grabbed my shoes. I quickly slipped out of the house and ran over to Merediths house.

I am making this a two part chapter. The next chapter will be up either tonight or tomorrow.
