My thoughts felt like they were a fast as a freight train. How was their another Balancer? That shouldn't be possible. My energy was needed to create another one! But then something else hit me. Empty didn't say that they looked like a Balancer. He had said they looked like me.
"What do you mean he looks like me?" I asked. 'Does he mean they look like me before I became a Balancer?' I wondered. 'Or someone that just happens to look like a Balancer?' I was really hoping that was true. I still remembered what I had found out about Balancer Energy. Once it combines with another energy, they can no longer mix. And if they tried to mix, it was pretty painful. Empty rubbed his forehead, and for the first time ever, I saw a glimpse of worry in his eyes.
"I mean he looks exactly like you, but instead of blue, he has red. And his red marks don't line up at the exact places you have your blue marks." That wasn't what I had wanted to hear. That meant the whoever this was, they were actually a Balancer. 'How is that even possible?' I thought.
"Don't I need to give someone my energy to become a balancer?" I asked Empty. "That's how it worked for Unbalance, Debalance, Rebalance, and Ender." If there was another way to become a Balancer, that could lead to some serious problems. Becoming a Balancer gave me incredible power, which seemed to still be growing by the day. If it fell into the wrong hands, it wouldn't end well.
"Yes, that's how it's supposed to work. That's why I came to you. To see if you turned anyone else into a Balancer." He paused. "Based on the fact they you're asking questions, I'm guessing you didn't make him. I knew I hadn't. And there was almost no possible way I had given anyone any sort of energy on accident. Plus, Empty had said that he looked like me, not just like a Balancer. That meant that he would be half white, and half black. Does that mean whoever it is was a Light Steve? Before I could keep worrying, I heard screaming from up above. I turned and began to run upstairs, then stopped and looked at Empty Steve. "It's best that no one knows I was hear." He said. I nodded in agreement, and continued to run to the temple's entrance. I made it to the opening and looked out. Unbalance, Debalance, Rebalance, and Ender Balance were standing in a line. In front of them stood a steve that looked like one of the steves Origin had made when he had combined the colors. He was mostly purple, but had bits if yellow across his chest, head, and legs. He looked out of breath, and his legs seemed to almost be buckling. I realized that he had had splotches of red coloring across his chest as well. As I approached I realized that it wasn't like the other colors.
"...he said he was looking for you all." The hurt Purple Steve was telling the others. He turned his head and looked at me. "You especially." That wasn't reassuring. It seemed that a lot of bad people were showing up a lot more frequently now a days. Maybe they were always there, but now they've decided to show themselves.
"What does this person look like?" Debalance asked. My heart skipped a beat when the Purple Steve pointed at me. The others looked at me, surprise written all over their faces.
"He looked exactly like Balance. But instead of blue, he has red." 'The person Empty warned me about.' I realized. 'He really is coming for us.' I took an internal deep breath.
"Where is he now?" I asked. Purple slowly turned around and pointed to the south.
"He's at someone's plot." he answered. "It has a few trees in the corner, and a hill in the center. He was standing at the top of it. He says he wants the Balancers." Whoever this was, Empty had just warned me about. I decided it may be best to not tell the others about that, at least until we figured out who we were dealing with.
"Purple, you stay here. You should be safe as long as you stay within the temple walls." I started. He nodded, and began to walk towards the temple. He was limping slightly, but we didn't have time to check him over. I'd do that when we get back. I turned to the others. "Lets go see what this guy wants" They all nodded, and we launched off the ground and began to fly South. We went over dozens of plots, all with all sorts of diverse builds. Some had houses, some had entire towns. Some even had huge trees that looked a lot like the Rainbow Tree of Life. I also noticed that some plots were bigger then others. There the ones like ours that was just one area. But some seemed to be double that. And others triple that. I think I even saw a plot that seemed to have the size of ten of the little plots combined in the distance. Suddenly ahead of us I could see the plot the Purple Steve had been talking about. It had a small cluster of trees in one corner, with a small hill in the middle. I gestured to the others to wait a moment. We all slowed until we were hovering in place, about six plots away from our destination.
