"I will always care for you, even if we're not together and even if we're far, far away from each other."
It was finally the day to interview Blake Hudson.
My whole body was shaking and my heart was beating faster by the minute. This would be the first time we have talked ever since the break up. 1 month later since he has given me my space.
Today can go so many different ways. The nerves building up in my stomach is intense but this was destined to happen one way or another.
Blake is giving me a tour around the hospital built in the academy. He will tell me his position and what the interns will do during their stay in the program.
I'm not sure if I should bring up what Amada mentioned to me. I just want to know what happened to him to want to let loose. There is nothing bad in doing it of course because everyone needs to recharge in their life. I just want to know if he ever was going to tell me what happened. Did he trust me?
I arrived at the Hudson Hall early to try and calm my nerves but to my luck Blake arrived early too.
"Hi," Blake says while looking at me.
"Hi, I know I'm early, sorry," I say
"It's fine I was early too. We should start then since we are both here," he says.
"Yes that is perfect. First just show me the hospital and what is being done in it," I say as we walk inside.
"The hospital just opened about 2 weeks ago. We still haven't accepted any interns but I am sure for next week the list of those accepted will be set out. This program is only offered to future doctors and nurses in their fourth year at the academy." says Blake.
"30 students will be accepted each year, 15 nurses and 15 doctors since each will be paired together. Each will also be assigned a hospital room," Blake says while we enter a room.
It looks exactly as what you see in the hospital. There were monitors, beds, the materials needed to start a procedure, mannequins and many more resources.
"Every week each partner will be assigned a case with a patient which in this case is a mannequin. They will have to observe the patient and monitor his every move. At the end of the week I will need a report on the diagnosis and what was done to help the patient. We will start off with easy cases as they get harder and harder as the time passes. Of course some cases will not have a good outcome which is why we want to prepare our future leaders in the medical field to tackle different cases." Blake says.
