Chapter 23🌴

The Taejin couple were sitting on the bed silent and no one dared to speak further. After what felt like hours, Kim Seokjin broke the silence.

"Will you leave your farmhouse and live in the city with me, farmer?" Jin asked quietly and looked at Taehyung for an answer. Deep inside he already knew the answer but still he wished for a miracle to happen.

"I can't, Mr. Kim. And I know you can't too." Taehyung said with a sad smile in his face. Of course both knew that but still they liked each other. Again a moment of silence fell in the bedroom and only their breathing sounds could be heard.

After few minutes, Taehyung left a heavy sigh and brushed his hair back. He looked at Kim Seokjin who was fiddling his fingers and keeping his head down.

"This relationship won't work, Mr.Kim. We both have different ideologies and different dreams. I know you won't sacrifice your passion, neither will I." Jin bit his lips by hearing the confession coming from Taehyung's lips. He wished the farmer was wrong but they both knew that whatever Taehyung spoke was the truth.

Kim Seokjin gulped by knowing the future. He loved destroying lands to build his companies, while Taehyung loves taking care of lands and farming.

But something between them sparkled yet they couldn't sacrifice for the sake of their love. Seokjin was biting his lips when he felt movements from the farmer. He slowly looked up to see Taehyung dressing up and he was in no position to stop the other.

He can't blame Taehyung though. Both wouldn't step down from their dreams and they were ready to close their hearts off for the sake of their passion.

"I will take my leave, Mr. Kim. Thanks for being my boyfriend for a day. Have a good life." With that Taehyung left Kim Seokjin all alone in the large bedroom. Suddenly Jin felt coldness around him. There was no farmer to give him the warmth. He was already missing the tender touch from his ex-boyfriend.

A sad chuckle left Jin's lips by thinking about breaking up with his one day boyfriend. It sounded crazy yet beautiful.

Jin didn't know how long he had been sitting on the bed naked, he looked up at the bedroom wall clock only to sigh heavily.

Midnight 2'0 clock.

His eyebrows furrowed in confusion when he felt something wet rolling down on his cheeks. He slowly brought his crooked fingers over his cheeks to witness some wetness. That's when he realized that he had been crying silently.

"Oh fuck, the tears." Jin sadly giggled and wiped those tears harshly. Kim Seokjin was not someone who would cry for such silly things.

"It's just a break up. Does that even a break up when I didn't have a relationship in the first place? Not even a day and I am single again." Kim Seokjin shook his head and got down from his bed to take a quick shower. He winced in pain in the lower region but he shrugged it off and headed to the shower.

He replaced the dirty sheets with new ones and plopped down on the bed heavily. He reached for his cell phone on the night stand only to curse.

"Fuck, I didn't get his number at all." Jin cursed at himself for only giving his number to the farmer. After that little speech by Taehyung, Jin was sure that the other wouldn't call and keep in contact with him.

"Minnie, arrange a meeting tomorrow. I am waiting to hear some proposals for the new project and it would be awesome if anyone have ideas on doing projects in England."

Jin sent the message to his best friend and laid on his large bed. He felt empty and numb. Jin had never felt lonely since he used to have people around him.

But he kind of wanted some one who was with him with love, instead of money and fame. And he found that quality only in the stupid farmer. Jin's tired eyes slowly closed and with a long yawn he found himself sleeping on the cold bed without having anyone to hold and snuggle him.

While Taehyung on the other side was looking at his vast field. He walked around the hen house only to find them silent. Of course even the animals and birds would be sleeping in the middle of the night.

But here he was, walking along the lonely field and wandering about his decision. He still remembered how Jin looked happy by talking with businessmen in the party. That's where Kim Seokjin belonged to.

Kim Taehyung didn't want to drag Jin to his messy life. Being a farmer had it's own pros and cons. He was lucky if he had a good harvest. But if it turned out to be bad, he don't think he could live a steady life.

For once, Kim Seokjin helped him when he was in crisis. But Taehyung can't expect Jin everytime when there was a disaster. He could tell that Jin was born with silver spoon and he was not born to work under the sun but rather in the air conditioned room.

Kim Taehyung was not feeling insecure. Oh no! He was always proud of himself and his job. But Kim Seokjin was someone who was well known entrepreneur. And Taehyung knew that his position and status in the media would be dropped if anyone knew that he was just a farmer's lover.

Farming was a heavenly job but it's under rated by most people. They think that only poor people do farming. But in Taehyung's case it was quite the opposite. Taehyung was not poor either rich. He had enough money to build his own business but he wanted to put his hard work in something productive.

He lived in a country side while Kim Seokjin lived in different countries with his different projects.  He wanted to spend his time with Jin in his farmhouse and wake up everyday with Jin beside him.

But it was not as easy as it sounds. Taehyung didn't want to be selfish to have Jin all by himself.

Seokjin was the sky and Taehyung could never reach that level. He could only look up and admire him but he can't have himself. Because he was surrounded with clouds of people, and stars of businessmen.

He wanted to see Kim Seokjin before leaving for England. The University which he graduated had called him for a big project. He got a job opportunity to develop farming in the outskirts of Scotland. Since he excelled in the area of agricultural laws, he was being assisted with some students to learn more about farming and it's uses.

Though he was in dilemma to take up the offer, he decided to do it.

Taehyung wanted to see Kim Seokjin for one last time before he leaves the country.

"I am sorry, Mr. Kim." Taehyung whispered in the air and closed his eyes while letting his tears fall down on his cheeks.
